ASUS P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3 MOBO! 16 GB ram (free from a G3D member)

GTX 1050ti $80

New sata 1TB SSD $90

already had the case and power supply!

Damn thing boots up in 7 seconds!....

Damn... they are still $300 for me.... well... $299 to be exact, not including postage of course.

 

Yeah, I've done that 10 years ago to be honest, so welcome to the band my friend
But it's a great way of making use of older hardware. If you've got an old TV that's not offering smart features, this is golden.
Also for light gaming, or stuff like Steam's in home streaming!

I always loved the start of the sound effects to that and during the race. Plus it’s also weird to think I can still remember 1999 for its film release like it wasn’t that long ago. Yet at the same time it feels so long ago.

 

My old MSI laptop with a 970gtx GPU connected to a Samsung 65" NEO TV.
This will eventually be retired and replaced with the inards of a 2070gtx based laptop.

 

Man, that 2600K just won't die, will it? lol Geez that thing is getting old now. Hard to believe that processor is going on 12 years old now....

2600k and 2700k were beastly CPUs, had my 2700k running at 5ghz for years.
