It would be worth thinking about a good PSU that supports PCI-E 2.3 specs.
This is so that you'll have the right connections on the GFX power leads & have enough
juice for the quad core. As the PSU is one of the most important bits you'll ever buy
it's worth paying around the 100 euro mark, Enermax are good. A good site that does good
full tests not just objective reviews is http://www.hardwareheaven.com/ their PSU tests
are about as good as they get.
If you want to save money look at a mother board like mine it's ready for that CPU

Get a Radeon HD 5850 and a SAMSUNG F3 drive and couple that with a GIGABYTE 890GX motherboard and you're good to go.

Also if you plan on running that chip at 4gHz due to it being a Black Edition
you'll need to pay attention to the cooling. I don't think that the stock
CPU heatsink & fan will be any good at those frequencies. When choosing a
heatsink fan you'll want one that's rated to handle a TDP of 140 watts.
A good one will be just under 70 euros before postage.

The only other thing is your choice of case.. this is where things can get complex..
if you are going to get a better air cooler for your CPU say like my
Scythe Mugen 2 then you will have to pick a case that has enough width
to take it. Or you could go for a water based CPU cooler like the following :-
    http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-002-CS&utm_source=froogle

    Hope this helps a bit.

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16822152181 (Fast Harddrive, 500GB on 1 platter)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16835181010 (Good cooling works well with case, would suggest Noctua NH-U12P as alternative)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16813128435 (Good motherboard, supports SATA3/USB3.0 as well)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16820231277 (2x2 = 4GB, good enough for gaming, multitasking, photoshop but if need more +$69 for the 3x2 = 6GB kit)
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16814161302 (HD5850, good price/performance)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16811129021 (great case, can opt to a different one, has a nice 140mm on the top that can act as an exhaust and works well with H50 (push/pull intake -> exhaust outtake)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16819103849 (1090T, not sure if you already bought the cpu, just added it in combo)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16817341018 (nice PSU, good enough to power the hexa core and vid card, also a modular meaning it has detachable cords so you'll have a cleaner looking case)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16827106327 (dvd burner, with psu combo comes out to $10)

This is a rough template and everything is interchangeable, I agree with all the post above as well so try decide which part you'll most likely need and take into consideration what others have posted :) .

Wicked system, the only problem is the 3x2 advice. With three memory sticks your memory will run in single channel, so either stick with 2x2 or 4x2 sticks.

Agreed, but the 3x2 GB is highly NOT recommended.

Also, I'm not sure about the Corsair CPU heatsink.

Ahh yeah I keep forgetting its not Intel hahah thanks for the notice on that one :) .

Yeah the Corsair is up for grabs and I would go for the Noctua if they're looking for an alternative (exact same price), though from my experience the H50 has been good on my end (i know a few users here think otherwise), both on an E8400@4ghz and a Q6600 the performance is just about that of a high-end heatsink, but I was suggesting this for this type of case considering it has a nice 140mm fan on it.

The system with the Q6600 and an Antec 300 is dead silent with this configuration and temps are low 30s high 40s on load which was surprising.

Either way thanks for the heads up, going back and forth with Intel and AMD got me confused :p

Ty for putting in the time. :) That motherboard is good for overclocking right and is it compatible with the x6 right out of the box?

This one was actually the first one I made before the second one lol.

Yeah the motherboard should be able to run the x6 right out of the box :) .

lol, ye, the board will be compatible w/ the hexacores. The 890GX is known to be a really good OC platform. The 890FX is better but those boards are few and far between atm.

If you purchase the board and you manage to get the rev. 1 (instead of the rev. 2) you will still be able to boot and run (install etc..) though it will detect it as "unknown cpu" which can easily be fixed with the latest BIOS update, so regardless with or without the latest BIOS on the rev. 1 boards it will still be able to boot and you can go through the whole installation process, it just wont detect the proper name of the CPU.

Yeah the 890FX doesnt have onboard and in a sense is slightly better but the motherboards are all $40+ more. So if you wanna go that route you can swap some alternative (lower price) on some of the other components or add in $40 for the 890FX version of the board. But the big advantage of the 890FX chipset is if you're going for Crossfire as they can run at (x16/x16) while the 890GX chipsets will only run (x8/x8) if you stick with a single card then you'll be good at x16 regardless.

Well I just ordered from them but since I live in the East Coast I wont get them till end of this week/early next week so I dunno if they're good yet but they get good ratings on resellerratings. http://www.resellerratings.com/store/eWiz

You can used 'CRUNCH10' for a -$10 off but that only applies to the Samsung F3 1TB and not the 500GB one :/ .

Thats a good motherboard, between Asus and Gigabyte they're about equal. MSI is also good though they have less support. But between Asus and Gigabyte I would go for the one that fits your budget as they both have good features and ocing capabilities.
