First of all, forgive me if I have posted this in the wrong section.

So I am on a very tight budget, and want to build a new system, primarily for gaming. Here's what I have selected. Will these choices/combinations work for me?

    - Intel Core i5 3450
    - Intel DB75EN Motherboard http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/motherboards/desktop-motherboards/desktop-board-db75en.html
    - HIS HD 7770 http://hisdigital.com/un/product2-681.shtml
    - Cooler Master Extreme II 525W Power Supply http://www.coolermaster-usa.com/product.php?product_id=3082
    - Corsair Vengeance 4GB DDR3 http://www.corsair.com/en/vengeance-4gb-single-module-ddr3-memory-kit-cmz4gx3m1a1600c9.html
    - Cooler Master K380 Casing http://www.coolermaster.com.au/product.php?product_id=6786
    - Seagate 500GB HDD

The PSU is a bit of a compromise because of my budget. I know it does not deliver the 525W it mentions, but I would like to know if is any good.

Secondly, and perhaps most importantly, is the GPU good, in terms of durability? I bought an HIS HD 5750 along with a Cooler Master Extreme Power Plus 500W (http://www.coolermaster.com/product.php?product_id=3738) about 14 months back, and it died on me (started showing artifacts) in about 13 months; a month after the warranty expired! And the card did not even overheat, neither did I ever OC it. It just...died.
I was really heartbroken, because honestly speaking, I am not a rich guy - I had to save for months before I could buy that "budget" gaming card. So it would really kill me if this card goes bad too.

    Please help me out.
    Thanks.

Some time ago I had an order for low price decent PC which can run games.
With all I managed to get at 520$.

I Built it around A10-5800k which is at this moment most awesome CPU when you do not want to spend fortune.
At start you do not need dedicated GPU since integrated one in this is not that much weaker than HD5750 if you run it with at least 1866MHz memories.
And be sure to get board with A85X chipset.

No need to upgrade PSU too. System without dedicated graphics will probably eat like 175W at peak.
