    16 GB DDR3-2133 RAM
Either i5-4690K or i7-4790K (depends on budget lee way)
Wait a couple of months and get a R9-300 series AMD card
    A Z97 board

Of course, you are approaching a time where waiting a bit makes sense. Some say if you always wait for something better something better will always become available later, but this is only partially true. Both the new Intel CPU's and AMD R9-300 series cards are incoming, these make sense to wait for.

While I wouldn't discount AMD entirely Intel is just better at this point in time.

    Intel CPU.

16GB RAM will send you over budget and is only useful when you're doing heavy multi-tasking

Watch out you still have good money left if you're going to wait for a card so consider not blowing your budget on the i7 and instead consider the i5 if that meant you could squeeze in a more powerful GPU.

Pretty much what the other's stated.

Go with Intel, get yourself a nice cpu from the haswell refresh (4690K or 4790K for instance).
8GB of ram should be sufficient, more doesn't hurt, as long as it's a dual channel setup.
Z97 offers a lot of nice tricks, not sure if you could go with other chipsets though.
As for the GPU, that's always a tricky question. Might want to check out a used 970 (people might try to get rid of them), or wait for the next AMD cards to be out in about 4 months, or get a relatively cheap 290X, which atm is a rather good deal.

    Don't need one
don't forget you will need at very least a good PSU to power that system, I would not advise you to cheap out on it..

probs at least a good brand 750watt should do/see ya through ..

Your PSU is perfect fine for your new build.

Cpu Cooler buy a cheaper, Corsair or Nzxt.

    For SSD I recomend a crucial MX100 256GB or 512GB

The 850 EVO can be used for OS/progrms but those HDD's are Enterprise drives. U want a Seagate ST2000DM001 or similar 2TB WD for games/data, around $80 on Newegg (not sure where u are).
