Thanks man. Im in TS now and one of my mates in here has just said, why dont you just buy a cheap x58 board to last you the next 6-8 months and then just buy Haswell -E if your gonna spend all that money. You will get more peformance for your money and be more future proof. He has a good point tbh and i may go down this route. However ill only spend max £100 on a second hand x58 board. Quick fix for now, dunno what to do atm tbh.
Yeah i think when the R4EB is released ill find it hard, trouble is if i keep waiting ill be waiting forever. Ill see how i feel when the board is released in the next few days.
Review is up of the R4EB, looks awesome, i may just buy this i think. http://www.kitguru.net/components/m...page-iv-black-edition-x79-motherboard-review/
Doubt you'd need to go much higher than 2133 anyway, 2400 at most, anything over is just overkill really. You pay so much for the premium highspeed stuff, it just isn't worth it. 16GB @ 2133Mhz is what I'd shoot for. Looking forward to your build Vet, shame you no longer have the M8 to do it in, however I'm sure your put the 900D to good use with all those RX360 rads

I also have to vouch for the Samsung 840 pro SSD. I have one of those and its very reliable and fast!
Yeah thanks i should think so for the money Im not one of these people who upgrades every time there is new tech so it should last a good while. There is no point in me changing my gpu at this point in time as buying a different Nvidia card is a downgrade in performance. Yeah i noticed there is a samsung evo sold with data migration software. Im planning on doing a reformat of everything old and new so will i need this software?
You can use it, but I've heard sometimes it can be glitchy. I've tried one time and failed haha. On mine, I just did a clean install for OS and some apps. Use my HDD for storage. Games, ect. IMO, clean install with everything you want on your ssd. Maybe someone else here has a better answer though. I wasn't successful.
Ok i wont bother with it, didnt think i would need it, even if i did use it sysprep would need to be done. Ill just make a new install nice an fresh.
I would def stick to a fresh install, just to avoid any potential gremlins and to have a fresh system, nothing beats a freshly setup OS.
