Hello, Shadows in 3DMark 2005 give this result... Wich look scaled and strange... And this is "moving" when the camera move : - http://famille.kaldor.free.fr/wow/3dmark.jpg - http://famille.kaldor.free.fr/wow/3dmark2.jpg Here in Childrens of the Nile, same scaled shadows... - http://famille.kaldor.free.fr/wow/cotn_01.jpg - http://famille.kaldor.free.fr/wow/cotn_02.jpg My Drivers : nVidia 71.90 WHQL My Card : MSI NX6600GT VTD 128 (Geforce 6600 GT) Is that due to my card ? My drivers ? The game / benchmark ?
Bump... Should I get an answer ? Look at the curious aspect of the shadow in 3Dmark screen... Those are UNDER rock but look curious, like if they wasn't prefectly showed. Thanks.
I haven't got a pic online that shows the same scene exactly and the closest I have is in the thumb below. Try the 76.41 drivers, they give a performance increase in '05 and don't have the temp bug. thats about all I can suggest, try them and come back and let us know if they made any difference. Cheers
In act of war I got this : http://famille.kaldor.free.fr/wow/act_of_war.jpg This don't look so bad except I find it "pixelised" but no bug at all anyway... I does this screen with the demo of Act of War. For the screen, it's a bit later into the demo, when the flying thing flew out. Is that normal looking for shadows (without FSAA ?).
