Hi everyone i want to buy a second hand pc for light gaming. I found a i5 2400 come with 8gb ram its a fujitsu ESPrimo P900 comes with a 500gb hard drive its gona cost $97/£75 and i want to put a 1050 which will cost £77/£60 so all together costing for pc will be £135/$177. i already have monitor keyboard and mouse do you think this is worth it for a budget pc for light gaming playing titles such as gta 4 battlefield 4 etc gta 5 on low settings.
I am worried if older 4 threads i5 can push 60fps. Try to find 2500k / 2600k, with overclock it will push stable 60fps. The issue with older hardware, it might just not work and you end up wasting money. Maybe AMD 2200G / 2400G is safer bet.
The i5 2400 is a capable processor. If the motherboard can support it, the i5 2400 can be overclocked to 3.8ghz. It's not going to provide the best gaming experience, but if you manage settings and expectations, it will do just fine.
