Hi, dunno where to put this thread as I have no idea what the problem is.

Yesterday I left the PC defragging when I went to sleep like I usually do once a month or so. Today when I tried to start it up again it simply BSODs when entering Windows! I had a similiar problem before where I had forgotten to change the SATA mode in BIOS, but this is not the case now. What do I do?

Check your hardware/cables aren't loose and reset your bios. That would be the first steps i would take.

Did like you said, opened up the computer and made sure all hardware was in its place and then refitted all the cables ending with a reset of CMOS and BIOS. It worked! Thank you.
