I can't take Wifi AD seriously after seen the Linus video reviewing the tech and showing a simple cardbox or a body in between the router and the device connected to it disturb the signal and make it drop out (start at 5 min 29 sec):

Is Wireless Networking FINALLY as Fast as Wired?? 802.11ad

Basically requires you run mesh network with 60GHz AD access points in each room basically. You're right though kind of sucks with objects getting in the way, but it's future of VR headsets with no wires needed between client and host.

Hell 5GHZ Wireless A/C cant keep up with my 1GB net.
Only have a 866mb connection. Maxes out around 550mb when next to the router. Back of the house I have 520mb connection with 105mb/125mb avg.

Miss having my whole wired GB setup and my old house.
