All reviews from yesterday stated it's very short.

Bright memory is like the prologue of the story/game and this one is an additional episode kinda, hence why it comes free for owners of the original

It only works in games that use Unreal Engine 4.26 or later.
But it can be enabled with a single line added to Engine.ini of the respective game.

It does make image a bit cleaner. It's less blurry than TAA gen4.
The diference is not huge. But it depends on resolution, since TAA at lower resolutions tends to be noticeable blurrier.
The performance impact is around 10%, which is a lot for TAA.

If someone is playing at 1080p and has some performance to spare on the GPU, it's well worth enabling.
At 1440p it's a small improvement, but again, if you have performance to spare, it is still worth it.
At 4K, probably it won't make any difference.

Ah, I see. That's really pity then. 1:30h is not something to write home about.

3.5ish hours for a pretty bug buggy tech demo.

the coding chops to do the tech rtx and so on will likely get him more work then the game he made ;p.

    this form?

pretty sure there would have to be.

there no story, there a bunch of set pieces, to make a cool trailer, the dialog is juvenile, its brutally short for even art games.

his ability to code gfx stuff better than AAA studios stand out however.

hell i praised HIM. fluke or this gens john carmack?

It's beautiful and I highly recommend it. It's not that short and worth every penny.

I read all of your comments. The seems to be an ok title. Is it worth $28.00? Was it cheaper before? I don't know too much about the Bright franchise.

    The action looks great.

Just found out another thing about TAA Gen5.
The game Forgotten City, has an option to use the UE console in game, without needing mods. And this game uses UE 4.26
This allowed me to compare several settings in-game. Whist before, I was doing it with screenshots. One of the things I happened to turn on and off to see the diference was TAA Gen4 vs Gen5
TAA Gen5 has a much more stable image, with significantly less pixel jitter. Especially when using Temporal Upscaling.
So here's another plus for image quality with TAA Gen5.

I got the game for free having bought the previous version on steam in a sale. So I can't complain about the price. Played about 20-40 minutes and well, it's what I expected. All visuals, no substance. But I'm ok with that. It's a fun tech demo that really does look gorgeous. The sword option is fun too. I don't mind it. I wouldn't pay $30 for it, but I don't mind it.

it s weird that this small dev team can make a game that looks better than bf 2042.... really weird.

The small dev team is using UE4. They didn't make the game engine, so that's a lot of work saved.
Frostbite is a very finicky engine, that requires a lot of expertise to make work properly. And since most of the Dice team left and were replaced, there isn't talent to make Frostbite work properly.

i love how they made the shooting mechanics feel the same as cryengine s crysis 2 and 3, from the weapon models , it feels it borrowed from crysis 2 and 3 , from the aesthetics aswell, which is a great thing, which gives me good impressions on what we will be getting up next on UE5 when it comes to fps shooters, is there any close to release fps shooter on using UE5 and looks the same as this game?
