Well, honestly speaking what kind of comparison is this between a company that literally makes the engine and has team/experience and most importantly - money to make most out of it and a single dude who solo lifts majority of the stuff (besides spending his own money to outsource assets obviously).

World has surely seen worse looking solo projects - sure as hell i know how mine looks lol.

Yeah but you have 300FPS and graphics do not mean crap or that's what I keep reading.

    Anyway
One man made this game has done an awesome job and I am ready to play the game. Will this one man get hate from everywhere, yeah he will, even if he makes a perfect game.
The game will be better than many games I have played in the past and enjoyed.Plus for $5 or $10 I spent to buy the game is a bargain on any level.

It started as one man. But when the project garnered some attention and investment, he managed to hire more people.

Yes the current version is around 30 minutes long. This was just more or less a demo that was made by one guy, the game then got tons of attention and is now becoming a full game.

I will probably try it over the weekend, it seems fun. Looks quite a bit like Shadow Warrior, which I loved.

The only thing I disliked from the video is the sound effects of guns, they sound kinda cheap, but I can get over that.

Most probably you have read about early access demo for that game. Full one is not released yet.

ITS OUT!!!! I didn't even know it was coming lol

It just showed up in my steam library!!! THE GAME IS AMAZING!!!!!

Runs butter smooth, the best Unreal Engine game I have played in a LONG time, zero stutters!!!!

Just a word of warning RT is VERY VERY heavy in this game. I can play maxed out everything (TAA on old version not "new" looks no different) at 1440p and get well over 150-250fps. ITS LIKE SILK.

Turn on RT on Highest and this plummets to 50fps. RT on Low adds next to no graphical improvement but does gain around 10fps bringing it upto around the 60fps mark with slight dips. DLSS is 100% needed for Nvidia's side of the fence.

The game looks stunning for such a small team and even without RT it looks and runs amazing and feels so good to control.

    GET THIS GAME!!

Played about 30 mins. Runs fine on my RTX 2070 Super. High settings, RT on low, DLSS on quality. 90-100 fps throughout the first 30 minutes. It may dip in cutscenes, but gameplay is smooth.

Are you sure its the full game? The name of full game is "Bright Memory: Infinite" as opposed to "Bright Memory", which is the demo.

Reminds me of Shadow Warrior with some clunky movements.

Played it for half an hour, an it was fun.
Graphics look great. Much better than a lot of current AAA games. It makes BF 2042 look like amateur's stuff.
It has nvidia's Reflex, RTX and DLSS 2.3.0
It also has an option to turn on Epic's TAA Gen5. This is the first game that I've seen that has this option in game.
Optimization is good. With everything maxed out, RTX off, DLSS in Quality mode, 1440p, I'm getting 100-144 fps.

Combat is great and a lot of fun. It really reminds me of Shadow Warrior.
There are so many ways to kill enemies, that sometimes I have trouble choosing what I will use next. :D
Weapons have a nice feeling to recoil. The sword is awesome. And the powers are very cool to use.

    Sound and music are good.

There are a few annoying quick time events.
Story is a bit of a mess. Characters have no depth.
Dialogs are pointless. And things happen because of no reason.

There's also a good amount of cutscenes, that are unskipable.
Most are pointless. Seems like the dev put them in, just because he thought it was cool and to chow he can do it.
But I would rather have less of these, and instead, have more levels that would increase the game's length.
I also saw in a review that there is a stealth level, that is really bad. But I haven't reached that point yet.

I can't justify paying 17 euros for this game. Mostly because of it's short length.
I got it for a fraction of this price, because I bought the original at a discount, some time ago. So I'm happy with what I got.
Maybe pick this up when it shows up at a discount in a Steam sale.

Does a new TAA effect the performance? How about image quality?
