I gotta set of the Klipsh Promed's and they're awesome as f***. You won't find better comp speakers than these. I'm only runnin' the 2.1's (2 speakers, 1 sub) and they'll kick the hell outta any 5.1 system out there. I HIGHLY recommend them. My set only ran me 160.

ICPGr8Milenko - THANKS ON YOUR POST BUT - ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT THE BOSTON OR CAMBRIDGE DTT 2500/3500 AS THE KICKASS SPEAKERS?

Well hell. I didn't put my home stereo in there. lol I gotta set of the CV Vega series 12's dual voice coil that I put outta the car and put in the CV home speaker box I got. heheh. Gotta set of Eclipse Aluminum's for the car. Figure, 300 per voice coil, x 2 speakers, you're lookin' at 600 rms per sub. I'm runnin' them in series so I have both voice coils on one speaker hooked to one channel of the reciever. And the other speaker to the other channel. I got cheap little bose satelites for the rears. My one complaint is that the base drownds out the highs. No matter how I have it set. Right now, I have the bass almost completely down, and the treble all the way up, but my amp is runnin' 400w rms per sub. So I think I just need to find a way to limit the power they get, or use 2 serperate recievers. Or get one of those industrial amplifiers, that let you hook up like 5 sets of speakers, and each set has a seperate volume control.
You've got JBL's that run that much? Wonder how they sound. Never heard a set of JBL's that I liked.

I have the 5 piece Boston Acoustic BA 4800 and I am happy with them. The sound is very clear and they crank up pretty good but I doubt if they could compare to the Klipsh cause they kick some major azz.
or maybe 2 sperated amplifier for 4 channel sound .

i must laughing a lot if i see in computer store all those plastic rubish ,

claim they are 300 watt or even more , on a bloody small ac/dc adapter !

imposible , and speakers are too small to give a natural sound .

why buying computer speakers while you can easy use the homestereo set ?
