Sorry guys, I've been AFK for the past 3 weeks attending a funeral for my best friends sister, and I've been out of the loop...

Anyway, I just tried installing 14.2 Beta, but immediately got a BSSD! ...I haven't tried reinstalling it, but has anyone else had this issue (sorry for not reading the big thread, I'm just feeling pretty down after the funeral, and my focus is fuzzy right now) :dead:

I didn't have any BSoD on install. Did you remove previous drivers?

I had no problem with installation. But I had a blue screen once when my computer was in IDLE. :3eyes:

Yeah bluescreen here while playing BF4 just after install, mine indicates it's possibly due to Origin, i also use IE11 to view server browser.

Reinstall "seems" to have fixed it... this time i just used driver sweeper as it's always worked for me in the past, instead of ddu and driver sweeper.

    pls searh "EnableUlps" without ""
there is 2 location. pls set "0" (without"") and reboot

"disable ulps"....amazing how often that gets suggested.

    I got 3 BSoD's with the 14.1 driver....refuse to install the 14.2 driver. Unless you're playing BF4, I recommend staying with the 13.12 driver.

I have Dell 15 SE 7520 with 7730M and I can't use any of the 14s. Both 14.1 and 14.2(an hour ago) caused blue screen of death right after rebooting. I uninstalled 13.12 before installing them, rebooted, installed 14.2, rebooted, BSOD, safe rebooted, disabled driver, rebooted, uninstalled, rebooted, installed 13.12 back with a first time "package error"...

i have same machine. u need disable ulps from regedit for run 14.1 and 14.2. but if there is problem...
im not know what is your bios ? a10 is lastest.

u need clean pci filter driver. and clean drivers.

for now in my option best driver at windows update catalog. 7670m driver(compatible 7730m) v13.250.31.0 u can find over internet explorer from: http://catalog.update.microsoft.com/v7/site/Search.aspx?q=7670m but installation little complex.... im not explain installation points. its not include ccc and pci filter. u need install externaly bla bla....

easiest and best way. backup and format your computer. get hd graphics and amd gpu driver from automaticaly win update. u can load other drivers what u like. ( dont fast reboot after windows driver update. automatic update can be need more time for control panel install. u can fallow hdd activity led ) hd graphic driver can be need twice install

    in regedit:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4d36e968-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}\0000

or best search "EnableCrossFireAutoLink" are u find it ? where is it add its location there:

u can find 2 or more location. fill up all founded location.

    (all dword)

    KMD_EnableCrossGpuDisplaySupport 1
    KMD_XGDDefaultMaxLocalDisplaysPerGpu 1
    PP_EnableCFULPSPolicy 1
    DP_DisableHBR2 1
    CVRULE_ENABLEPALTIMINGSUPPORT 0
    PP_DeferFirstStateSwitch 1
    DisableOGL10BitPixelFormats 1

and i can give more tweaks if is not enough when u tried.

    remove if "EnableXDSupport" there

I've had the screen showing garbled lines on the first start in the morning 2 days in a row since installing these, after hitting the restart button it starts normally.

    try disabling your overclocks

13.12 overclocked better than 14.2 for me. with the same clocks 14.2 crashed. Without clocks i am stable. I will wait for a overclock optimized driver and continue to use 14.2 until then un-clocked

update your BIOS. MY asus board had updates that improved compatibility of PCIE cards and better stability changes, and the chipset drivers were also updated.

Try setting BIOS to default, see if that helps. Disable onboard grapics from bios. Disable PCIE power saving settings from BIOS

Enable stuff 1 by 1 till the crash comes back - then you found your issue.

reset your BF4 graphics settings to default to.

    Process of elimination here

all my games are working nice, from directX9 through till DirectX11

Thanks but more than 1 step is a step too much for updating a graphics driver. I'll wait for another release. Your help is appreciated.

there is no driver needed modifications (fixes). dell relasing a driver its old and more buggy than amd general releases. may be i can relese inf or modded driver.

Yes, artifacts in browsers and using flash.

I also get a blitch at the top of my screen sometimes.

But good news is that drivers aren't crashing and that clocks don't get stuck at poor values.

note ihave 1 hdmi and 1dvi monitors. I've uninstalled the Audio HD controller for ATI.. but didnt help much
