    Does anybody know of a good secure program, that will allow a person to block certain sites eg. like facebook and skype.

    Thanks.

    I use OpenDNS on my network, which lets you block certain domains. You can also change your Hosts file to redirect those sites to 127.0.0.1.

    OpenDNS Basic
    Ideal for Home Users

    * Web Content Filtering
    * Phishing Protection
    * Basic Customization
    * Typo Correction
    * Simple Traffic Reports
    * Ad-Supported

    Is this the one you are using ? Looks O.K just not sure about the ad-supported thing.

    That basically means if you enter a site name wrong, it will redirect to an OpenDNS launch page which have 'sponsored links' at the top and bottom.
