alright, I just got this game today and it seems ok... Haven't played much yet. Anyway I see a lot of screaming about the patches out there so my question is... should I patch it or not?

When you have a problem you patch, if it isn't broke don't fix it.

bah...sometimes a patch will increase performance. look at the sacrifice patches. increased performance means you can bump up the resolution and get the same frames you had before the patch...tsktsk ppl.
Patch it, then when the game stops working, Weazel will come over to fix it.

Starting to notice little crappy things in this game like slow downs as you progress in- game. I am running this thing with a gf3 a 1.0g T-bird @ 1.2 and 256M ram @ 133(FSB) at 1024x768 and it gets choppy as you progress??? Very strange! Makes no sense at all. It's fine too if you leave that game and start another (god)... The scenery doesnt get anymore complex.. I dont get it. Ah well..

That's all I could think of too Weazel.. But if you make a new character without leaving the game it's clean again. With mem leakage that shouldn't matter... I dunno I expected they wouldnt put out a game with a know issue like that.

Yeah, I also noticed that the game seems to take longer and longer to load as I progress

Well, I hope they do something about it soon. there is no quicker way to loose a customer base then to promise something great and then crap all over them!

    yep,
don't you just hate the guyz which keep giving you a stupid date only to delay it by god knows how long, the thing is everyone gets damn annoyed and let down when you fail to release on time, can't they be smarter and give a later date and make a pleasant surprise by managing to release it early as opposed to giving stupid early date and releasing it way late.

Patch it, it fixes lots of bugs, including a food bug, where your worshippers would eat thousands and thousands of food, lol, get the patch, and yes, it does slow down when you progress, it takes forever to load and takes forever to save, and i am on a ultra ata 100 seagate barricuda III,lol
