My playthrough got left hanging because of Borderlands 3 (on Steam) and Doom Eternal. Rarely have I so much fine choice of games at the same time Must resume / finish this as well. Also these games are all shooters but wildly different ones at that, yet all very enjoyable in their own right.
Somehow got stuck at the end of the Surface Tension. I managed to kill the big alien and when I destroy the antenna the game glitches and freezes. Any ideas?
try to reload a previous save. i had a freeze\crash at some point in Surface Tension and going back on a previous save fixed it. if that won't work, try even a more older save, game usually have enough auto save points.
When VRChat streamers play Black Mesa.... xD https://www.twitch.tv/snowsos/clip/ZanyCautiousKangarooBleedPurple
I *know* there's a whole Twitch universe with streamers playing games and talking and acting like... Well, that. I prefer pretending that universe doesn't exist though.
I have absolutely no idea at all what ever it is you are talking about..... Spoiler https://www.twitch.tv/waifudeliveryservice/clip/GoldenStupidPassionfruitArsonNoSexy
Complete with high-pitched laughter... Please please please let me live in my pretend "Twitch doesn't exist" universe. XD
Took a sort of similar approach. Loaded a previous save and destroyed the antenna tower first, jumped from the vantage point and speed ran to the damaged antenna tower and crossed the area and got out from the Surface Tension, straight into Forget about the Freeman. Pretty long chapter, if you ask me.
Looks fantastic Its mental though, im just muddling my way through it, not got a clue where im supposed to be going, or what im supposed to be doing, im just working it out as i go along.
Just done the bit with the big tree, and the exploding pumpkin things, where you have to make your way around it, using those alien bouncers to get up n that, to get the power turned on to get those big leaves opened, mental!
I'm on an elevator inside the big structure but had to take a break. Got pretty hectic towards the end
The Gonarch and the final evolution of the headcrab. This entire life cycle goes into perfecting being able to tea-bag opponents and that's almost as impressive as the design being greenlit in the first place. Hey I made this giant testicle with legs can I put it in the game? Wat Wat Yes! Maybe not quite like that but they had some interesting little designs both before and after the delay and polishing Biker Gordon into Scientist Gordon. (Quite a bit of it was even found in extra files and such utilized in mods like Azure Sheep and what they were called, been a few years.) EDIT: Should replay the game eventually, Black Mesa too and see Xen V2 for myself and the jump pack hell I remember it being ha ha. (Well it's been redesigned so it's probably a better ending segment now or at least less quick save reliant.)
Suppose soft-body physics support would be a neat addition for no particular reason at all... Could also play fetch with those hound eyes. Impressive how the original game had AI parameters and definitions for stuff like smell and hearing not just line of sight and some idle animations for when the player wasn't in said field of vision. EDIT: Well I guess you already have the Snarks for throwing at stuff. Or the satchel charge. (Unless that was Opposing Forces, had some fun additions and then Blue Force was more like a level pack though it included some optional HD models.) EDIT: Why hello there nostalgic feeling, non-cover based shooting and health management via medkits ha ha. Late EDIT: And the gun models don't cover 1/3rd of the screen area, why did that ever become a thing anyway along with obstructive UI elements and noisy screen effects.
