Just killed the big git underground (Power Up level), now just about to get on the train
Slow coach, I finished the games days ago.
Unfortunately the screen went back after Lamda Core...
Awaiting Zen, Gonarches Lair, Interloper & Nihilanth.
The pool of water is actually a "cone" within another cone, so what you need to do is to go underwater and look up and see that the wall you need to go under that walls in the small cone where you initially landed after you fall from the ladder, trust me, they do not go all the way down, or if that is the case, they have a break between them under water, the idea is to go under the first cone, and you will emerge in a larger cone, well there you can get out, you have to swim in circle a bit around the larger cone to get to an opening, and you will get in the green radiation area.
I would say its the first one
Im taking my time
I ddin't like Xen with all them platforms you jumped and floated to.
Yeah id forgot it was the middle part where you got out, i was going right to the bottom
Just finished this release section and was totally stunned, cant wait for xen to be released so i can continue.
True it was rather strange & annoying, however, you gotta admint it looked dam cool. When I first saw Xen the very first time I played, and when the music came, I was like WTF? This is crazy, imagine waking up one day & find yourself in Xen. I just liked Zen for the look of it.
I cannot WAIT to see how Xen will look when the makers of Black Mesa finish it, I just hope they don't fucck it up...
So whos taking bets on how many years until they release it? 2020?
It had me stumped for ages, felt a popper idiot when i sussed it out
Yeah, 2020 years sound reasonable.
JK. Can't wait for Xen, i really hope they upped the WTF-factor.
yea that and the pool of water in Apprehension where the train falls are so annoying, btw, in that level it is almost the same as in HL1, well it involves barrels, but with a twist, called physics
I really like the fact that they added some modern touch to the puzzles and gameplay in general, instead of just "porting" everything.
I'm almost done, yesterday i stopped at the very end of "Questionable Ethics", which was my favourite chapter in HL1, and a blast to play in BM, they really excelled here!
Finished, was AWESOME!
The puzzles were tough at times but thank god for no console crap like arrows pointing the way.
The platforming was also fun and frustrating, lots of god damm this crap moments.
F6 is your friend.
Aside from a few bugs, it seems well done, just reached the offices bit. I will play a bit more later, hopefully in future updates they'll fix the smaller issues.
I cannot wait for the deathmatch multiplayer for this, hope it has maps like Crossfire
I find it rather obnoxious that Gordon can't jump over anything without using crouch jump, why not just make that his default jump height?
I'm not sure I want to call this better than the original, it has better graphics but other than that, I don't know.
I totally agree!
Editing some .ini files shouldn't be much of a problem, especially in a free game.. Uncle Google knows the right answers, ask him politely..c1:
Yeah I noticed that. It made it a real chore sometimes when getting through some puzzles. A few I would use no clip because having to crouch jump all the time got really annoying.
