Nice thanks, what OS do you use?
uups, sry..thought it was listed in my specs on teh left side..wasnt..
im on Win7 64Bit..
K, you got a very nice score for that cpu lol.
Looking for stock phenoms/athlons/C2Q/C2D/FX series!
Hope you guys can help me building a scoretable to use everywhere.
I improved my score a little, OC 3.656Ghz (FSB 457mhz)
But i I can't go further, something starts to fail.. Probably need waaaay more voltage.
Pretty good score! You closed every program + background program?
No, I didn't close anything. Was I supposed to?
Is this at stock?
I just saw your result and the difference comes from having Turbo activated on my laptop, not locked at 2Ghz.
aah k, could you run this again and post 2x cpu-z (memory tab and cpu)?
Also, what's the turbo clock speed? But looking at the difference between them in multi (small difference) and quad (big difference) it should be about right because turbo is increasing clockspeed on only 1 thread. Your timings and ram speed is also pretty much higher
Because like you know, my score from that cpu is about 1000 points lower... (a friend tested it and said it was stock @2ghz)
Turbo increases speed no matter how many threads. For 4-8 the theoretical limit is 2,6Ghz and for 1 thread 2,9Ghz. But as the laptop cooling is not very good for the multithread test i had 2,5ghz, 2,4 near the end, for the 4 threads 2,5 and for 1 thread from 2,4 to 2,8 (it fluctuated a lot).
The score is slightly slower now because the laptop is already hot
Now i see the singlethread result is the same :3eyes: Could it be Windows 8?
Stock scores so far: (all scores are the average of all same cpus tested)
Looking for more scores!
Update of stock cpus:
A score from a friend :
Could you plz include cpu-z next time?
Is this your C2Q? At what speed?
ohh.. sry i forgot to update my pc spec. that score is with core i5 3470 @ 3.8
Here is my result:
