    i have Gskill Sniper 2133 Ram, an A10 6800K and a Gigabyte F2A88X-UP4 Mobo.

i am able to set the XMP profiles and set my ram to 2133 in my uefi bios. BUT CPUz is telling me its running at lower speeds...

(to check this i restarted into my uefi bios. sure enough my Bios M.I.T. readout is saying that its running at 2133 despite what cpuz said...

what the heck?? what is going on and how do i fix it?

    my bios ver. is F4
    OS is w8.1 pro 64bit
everything is updated except for the fact that i cannot use gigabyte's latest Catalyst Chipset drivers for some reason on my motherboard

There's nothing to fix. CPUz is reporting correctly.

    1066.5MHz x 2 = 2133MHz

so is 2133 the combined speed? ( in other words, is it just that they are both being utilized at 1066 or is it being combined and then utilized at 2133)?
i dont know if im explaining my question right...

    lol

also, i am getting a Corsair Hydro Series Cooling H75 Performance Liquid CPU Cooler tomorrow... i plan on actually OCing this time!

The clever ask and get a quick answer everyone else fiddles and plays with and reboots and tweaks and they then scratch there head and ask ........... That's what I used to do but I now know that there are a lot of clever guru3D members that will save me a lot of time and trouble oh and worry

yeah i know... before this setup i wasnt familiar with 2133.
(all i knew about 2133 was that it was faster than what i had.)
i know alot about computers with the exception of some key aspects.... i know what parts go together and how they workon a baseline level... and i ultimately know how to build computers just fine.

but because of my lack of knowledge and because im a little slow when it comes to understanding things or seeing things, i tend to look like an idiot and everyone trolls me. i just wanted help.
