What kinda framerates are you guy's getting ?
That's a very broad question give some guidelines resolution price single player multi. Something to go on.
It is open to how you like to play the game and what you guy's are comfortable playing it at or more so how you play the game when you are playing normally in a typical scenario.
Dunno TBH last time I played it I was running a 5870 and just a quick look at my Battlelog page it was 6 months ago. Bought a 7970 in June and always mean to see how it does in BF3 but just CBA...
70-130 fps @ 1080p with my GTX 670 set to 1123 on the core, but in-game it sits at 1331 mhz. I max all settings except MSAA, which I keep at 2x.
100+ fps on ultra during multiplayer at 1080p.
Okay I'll bite on this when I get home later I'll post some screen shots with all the info you need.
35-50 fps 6080x1080, ultra, 64player multiplayer.
70-100 fps 1920x1080, ultra, 64player multiplayer.
that was with a 3570k @ 4.7 and a single gtx 670 ftw.
Realistic average around 55FPS in Multi @ 1080p Ultra Default Presets, with a low of 40's to max 100+.
I play it with everything maxxed except msaa at 2x Frame rates always above 60....sometimes way over. 1920x1080...
<= Rig in sig
With following settings:
- everything ultra
- motion blur on
On a 64 player (full) map between 55 and 100+ fps. Mostly it's around 70-80fps with a few dips to 55-60fps when a lot of stuff is going on. Very playable for me.
GPU oc'd to 1.2 ghz core (max boost) and 7 ghz memory.
Rock Solid 60FPS in all situations never seen it deviate.
Although from what I have HEARD, the map packs do not run very well, I have only basic BF3 and have not purchased map packs specifically for this reason.
Everything maxed 60fps@1920x1080
Maxed except for motion blur (I don't like it) here. 1920x1080, although there were some issues for a little while in SLI for me with flickering textures but now that it's fixed and everything is good.
FPS, I don't look at it nor care because it runs smooth enough that I don't worry about it.
maxed @1080p vsync on 40-50fps that was with 12.2 drivers im up to 12.8 now so i have no idea
To come back on your point made in other threads...
This and this
Imo everyone can play this game at 60fps as long as you have at least a 460GTX and sacrifice on the settings.
It helps to have a decent processor, though :infinity:
yeah but you dont even need to sacrifice i still have lots of room for overclock as well cpu is @3.4 and video 940-1100 lol
100+ fps fully maxed at 1920x1080 with 2X GTX 580.
Average around 77...
The only thing I am ever concerned about is the minimum.
I think the same logic as you for IMHO the min frame rate is all that matters average and max tells nothing really. I want the min frame rate to always be over 60fps ideally and I could care less about the average and max just so long that min frame rate if over 60fps.
