Where can I pre-order right now???? Take my money!!
I'll believe it when it actually has a fixed release date
Prequel and no SP. Pass
wtf? no singleplayer?????
Were are people getting the "no single player" from?
The "Space Monkey" thing they are doing is now, before the games release. Giving players a chance to have a voice during the game's development.
The game itself is single player, IIRC, with co-op possible.
Awesome... was worried for a second, I have very fond memories of the original.
"massive, seamless online environment"
And how can it be BGE2 if its prequel ? :bang:
Sooo what? It should be BGE -1???
Geez the amount of whining one cinematic trailer has generated is unbelieveble. Why people these days think negativity elevates them is beyond me.
I, for one, have been hoping for this news for more than a decade and am very happy right now. And somehow I am not surprised that a SEQUEL of a 14 year old game is being made in accordance with the trends today and not the ones long passed.
On Wikipedia it says the game will have both singleplayer and multiplayer.
I played the first one for an hour or so, then got bored
Hopefully this one's better.
I look forward, the first was one of my favorite games...
Judging by trailer its like a poor game with amazing graphics and A LOT of cutscenes.. probably more than half of the game would be not playing..
Some cool things shown here.
I really like the first game but there is nothing interesting to see here. Every aspect of this second game looks disappointing so far.
Agreed so many alarm bells rining
1). The guy in the video says the game is pretty advanced now but the in game footage looked pretty dull and boring as did the environments
2). Correct me if I am wrong this is meant to be another one of these massive open universe games where planets and content are procedurally generated with key points being scripted. If the last decade of this nonsense has taught me anything games that use PG to create their worlds rather than custom built and custom scripted game play elements, tend to be boring, dull and lacking in any really engaging long term gameplay mechanics
3). It's a Ubiisoft game, so add 2) to the mix here alongside the fact the Ubisoft have also spent the last decade slowly but surely making ALL their IPs play the same and what you have is another massive open world choke full of tedious busy work
4). Sign up and tell us what you want to see in the game, hooo boy, If GTAO has taught me anything it's that players do not have a f*cking clue what they want when it comes to games. How about the guys who get paid to make the games decided what should be in the game and then they balance and build the game around these concepts to deliver a fun and engaging experience that is fair but challenging as well as entertaining and rewarding, but I don't want any of that I want a button that makes fart sounds and blows everything up.
so far what they have is a nice CGI trailer and some very average in game stuff.
I still don't know what this about..
Also is that cgi or in-game? One time I've read it was in-game, but looks too good to be true.
UBI has a history of downgrading gfx from e3 to release, tho other companies have done the same.
