Bethesda has announced that it will be giving away Fallout Classic Collection to all Fallout 76 owners that have logged into the game in 2018. As such, those that buy the game in 2019 will not be able... Bethesda will offer Fallout Classic Collection for free (kinda)
Bethesda being Bethesda. The only truly free Fallout game I received for free was from GoG and is truly free and DRM free. Dear Bethesda, if you REALLY want people to respect you and buy games from you in the near future, take a hard look at CD Project . Those guys just won the best awards by really pouring their souls into their craft, and money started to fall from the sky, If you think with your wallet first, the only thing will fall on you from above will be the rocks people throwing at you...
As Fallout 1/2/Tactics was given for free years ago, I see this as empty attempt. Most of Fallout fans already have those games. On top of that they are announcing this today and giving it to people who logged in this year or buy this game now and log in before end of the year. (That's not even a D* move. And likely it will be available on their store, so it is like being raped by Turbo Plasma Rifle.) Yeah, bethesda did show big middle finger again. It is funny when I think about it. In past, they had poorly performing games full of bugs, but full of story and other content. They glued so much on their engine that it is even worse than before, killed no bugs, but reduced story as that costs too much (artists, story writers, ...). So, Starfield/ES6 are as attractive as bite from Brown Spider. I am returning them favor and showing them middle finger too.

I already got the Fallout Classic Collection for free. It was free on GOG. This went free numerous times over the years. They are giving away pretty much nothing, lol.
