If you don't want a remastered Fallout 3 edition, or think everything after Fallout 1 and 2 is crap, you could maybe, you know, not buy it? Instead of this pre-pubescent whining about not getting what YOU really want I mean.
F3 doesn't need to be remastered, who cares! Remaster Fallout 2 or make Van Buren!!! And just a comment about F4, yeah it is a fun game with a dumb story. After I met the VIP I had to take a brake for several months to forget the disappointment.
Yeah but then Avellone left and from a recent twitter post it seems Obsidian is uninvolved in whatever Bethesda is going to announce here. (Updated Fallout 3 for newer consoles, nah probably not considering the old code base and the amount of work involved getting that updated though we'll see I suppose.) New Vegas was fun though, tons of cuts due to tech and time limits and rushed development but they delivered a solid experience though a couple of fan patches plugged up a few hundred script and asset issues post-launch.
If its remasted fallout 3 i'd be interested to see the details, of course new vegas would be best case scenario but thats not happening. Also Bethesda really knows how to milk their products, buying skyrim again just for vr? oof.
The cynic in me thinks it's going to end up in a bunch of top 10 lists revolving around glitches. Or paying for mods that were otherwise free.
Ugh. Just ugh. Can't have a Bethesda Fallout game without yet another vault dweller. What is it this time. We've done dad. We've done son. I guess it's the wife.
Well at least the level of blown up Bethesda love will make sense now. Set 20 years after the bombs instead of hundreds
Gameplay in FO games is (generally) great. Except for the times I get headaches trying to sort out through 6 zillion inventory bits. Not counting the (almost Borderlands-like) variety of weapons each of which has its own multitude of upgrades, customizations. Oh crap... I cant walk... wait... lemme drop these 5 rocket launchers, 3 miniguns, and 12 semi-auto hardened pipe-pistol rifles with high powered scope, extended magazine, silencer that uses 5.56mm ammo but keep the ones that use .308 ammo. Jeezuz.. getting headache just thinking about FO4 again.
