I've been playing games on Win2K with no problems at all - much better than under Win98+SE - Just evaluating XP and that seems just as good esp with the latest drivers that are popping up.
Just wondered tho, which EA games don't run under 2K i've managed to play The Sims, Black and White and Alice fine on 2K and they are all EA badged games - they also work fine on XP Pro so far - no lock ups or crashes yet

huh. Alice never worked for me as well as none of my EA Sports games. That was the main reason I went back to ME.

Strange that Alice didn't work - it's probably the game I played most under Win2K, tho I've been looking about and quite a lot of people report probs with EA sports games on Win2K

Yeah I know...weird....oh well. I'm building a dual AMD system soon, so I will have to use 2k PRO or XP Pro....I just hope that the 2002 EA sports games will work on the OS by then.
