    Hey guys,

I'm looking into buying a new tablet, hopefully over the winter holidays, I recently got a 1 GB mobile data plan essentially for free (due to carrier promotion + general discount from having multiple lines on the same account). I was looking to pair it up with a tablet :).

I'm looking at the Nexus 7 32 GB LTE for $349.99 but was wondering if there was a cheaper option than that. Keep in mind that AWS HSPA+ (1700/2100) is a requirement, as that's the only band my carrier operates at...

EDIT: Local retailer is selling the older Nexus 7 (2012) HSPA+ for $269: http://products.ncix.com/detail/asu...unlocked-android-4-2-tablet-2e-78405-1223.htm

Only concern is that I know my current Tegra 3 based ASUS tablet has a really crappy eMMC chip and I don't want to get burned again... Also, price can go lower during Boxing Day which is what I'm hoping.

Tablet is mainly for reading books, emailing, Skype and surfing the net, don't think I'll really be gaming on it tbh.

If you guys got suggestions, I would love to hear them :)!

    Thanks,
