Blackmore definitely a contender. Not many were this this fast/good back in 1969: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9s4kXGaDpok check out solo from 1.20m on.
Randy Rhoads, Dimebag Darrell Abbott, George Lynch, Vivian Campbell were all my influences growing up.
Jason Becker. Mostly known for incredible speed but he had better technique than almost anyone. He can't even breathe on his own now and is still composing amazing music
Although I never really got into his fusion stuff this is still my fav vid of the late great Shawn Lane....ridiculous chops yet still manages to play the original lines from these classic songs flawlessly (there is another vid of him doing All Along the Watchtower and he out Hendrix's Hendrix).....I don't know how old he was here (24?) but the man was just an uncanny talent....taken too soon RIP Shawn https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4VlcUKJ-WyU
These are just a few of my favorite guitarists: John Benjamin and Brent Rambler from August Burns Red, Synyster Gates from Avenged Sevenfold, Tosin Abasi from Animals as Leaders, and Wes Borland of Limp Bizkit. I have waayyyyy more but most have already been posted.
I would not say best guitarist ever, but damn good job at engineering: And I am sure she understands science behind music perfectly.
Zappa, the man who introduced the wah wah to Hendrix. Check out his brilliance from around the 3m mark. 2 hour concert peppered with incredible solos. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DCcrNJ_AD6g He was also Steve Vai's mentor who played in his band for a couple years.
yes, buy a metronome. that was equally sloppy as your "prog". speed is only flattering to your sound if its precise
Oh there are probably tens of thousands of living room guitar hero's like you who can play it better. Objectively, you're sloppy and you have no sense of adding to a piece. Your noise is effectively subtracting from whatever it is you believe you're trying to create. It is that simple and blunt. Now enjoy another sunrise brought to you by the rotating Earth and maybe later, a simple moonlit night brought to you by the reflection of the Sun's life giving rays.
Brian Haner does every time he plays the ****ing song live Also your improv sucks. Says me. The true best guitarist of all time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iQ8ml7eENuI Here I am shredding it up
would you rather have him dabble in astronomy? he's better with the guitar, no matter what @LIGuitar77 keep playing bro. I won't pretend that I know anything about guitar playing, but I think ur OK. Keep doing what you do the best. And stay off the kooky websites
I really hope you're joking and if you're not I suggest psych eval for those delusions of grandeur you seem to be suffering. Not knocking the guitar playing just the ego problems. lol
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PG2804ggsI0 Mike from Symphony X. Love their older work. The newest album has a few good songs but their older stuff, the classical stuff, godly.
That is absolutely awful. Are you seriously posting soundclips of yourself in a thread entitled "best guitarists ever"? What a monstrous narcissist.
