Jimmy Page live Kashmir, he's still got the moves
Can't believe no one mentionned Joe Pass ,nor Django Reinhardt, nor Biréli Lagrène yet...!
Joe Pass with Ella Fitzgerald:
That's what music is all about
Makes you quit guitar playing too
Jeff Beck is my favorite
For those who said he sound like he doesn't know what he does listen to this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=drAv2FoYji8
I saw Joe Pass.
Probably back in the 70's.
Small club called the Jazz Gallery.
Just him on a bar stool and his guitar.
Playing and telling stories.
It was epic.
Thanks for posting that.
I had not heard of him.
The edge? I do like a bit of Narciso Yepes
Has anyone mentioned Nuno Bettencourt yet? He and Mike Mangini did some pretty sweet/funky stuff back in the day with Extreme
Jorma Kaukonen - nah but in top 50.
I like Ry Cooder and Stephen Malkmus and I always love the sound that Albert Collins made.
I mean; good lord - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v1c1SaG_gKA
Jeff Waters from Annihilator
Jeff Healy ranks up there for me...
Extremely talented and tragically ended..
This is just some of my favorites
Hot Tuna was a great group. Have to dig out the solo album I have from him. Was great with Jefferson Airplane too. Rolling Stone ranked him 54 out of the top 100.
Can't belive no ones mentioned Steve Lukather.
And i'll throw Akira Yamaoka name into the hat aswell.
Ill throw in Jan Akkerman
a question not possible to answer but i can give you my moods or likes of now
and something totally different:
Matt Harnett with Jakub Zytecki
