Im currently using 13.12 driver for my MSI R9 290 Gaming 4G and I see alot of stuttering on FIFA 14 and DOTA 2 but with high fps. I dont know where does the problem come from since i had high fps for both games. Ive tried using 14.2 and 14.2. I might be to try out 13.4 but i couldnt find this driver for r9 290. Can someone please give a link for 13.4 for r9 290. Thanks!

try resting FIFA,DOTA 2 game profile to default
which I have no idea how to do other than hitting "Defaults" on "3D Application Setting" page
($*&*@# what is with accessing CCC profiles anyway)

does it stutter without vsync too?
try vsync off or fps limiting. 60 or 59 fps if you're on 60Hz

13.12 or 14.3 work best for me

I use both driver, and never set a profile setting for each game and still get stutter

The 13.4s don't support the 290s, as they wern't released back then.

13.12s are the best for them at present imo, and i think Fifa does have a known stutter problem, not just on the 290s.

I'm on 14.3 right now and my problems with stability seem to have gone since I stopped using Firefox.

    Waiting for the next ones!

Hi, This is because the core/memory frequency changes of the 290.
Force to constant frequency with MSI afterburner, and also disable vsync.
