best cooler for 6600GT

    no matter what cooler i get should i get arctic silver? also when i got one it will have it already pre aplied so shouldnt i use that? if not how do i get it off and clean it ?

    it wont be pre aplied, you get a seperate tube thermal grease, but like nickf said, thats usually crap, so arctic silver is highly recommended.

    Yes no matter what you get get arctic silver. Rubbing alcohol and a cloth/paper towel will take it off fine. The arctic Cooler comes pre applied kwak ;)

    i think i will get the arctic cooler with arctic silver..seems a good combo :)

    ye so do i but i like the fact the arctic one takes all the hot air out. but i supose there wouldnt be alot of hot air with the zalman so i dont know.....damn:nerd:

    the difference between those 2 is small, so if you like the artcic cooler more, go for it, if you like the zalman more, get that one.

    do a getto cool like me i used P4 HSF idle from 53c stock to 44c mod. 75c + on intense load gamming to nothing over 56c. Very hot days 58c never seen it go near 60c with mod. check my clock speeds on the left.

    Between Arctic Cooler and Zalman you have no choice but to go to ZALMAN! for the reason that you have the AGP Version, PCI-E 6600GT is the one Arctic Cooler supports and not the AGP Version.

    Ive done some research because i want to change my stock cooler too and this is what ive got...
