Okay, that's a problem. Users of the new iPhone 6 Plus complain that their phone actually bends in their trouser pockets. The cause seems to be the size of the phone versus the very thin metal housin... Bend it like an iPhone 6 Plus
They could be using aluminium alloy 7075, and that wouldn't happen so easily. But what matters to apple designers is the looks, I bet they don't even know what 7075 stands for...
Nah... iPhone 4 biggest new feature antenna: "You are holding it wrong" iPhone 5 finger print scanner: Just after NSA scandal iPhone 6 size: "Don't put it in your pocket" Somehow Apple always gets away with this...
Sheesh, that is really bad for a premium phone! :3eyes: /tries to bend own HTC One M8 Nope, that doesn't bend!
Remember rubber bumpers? Now Apple can sell Titanium casings for +300$ *tries to bend Lumia 920... Nope, not bending also.
No problems with my Nexus 5 either, which is a hell of a lot cheaper than this. Think I'll be sticking with Google or LG based phones in the future tbh, I'm finding it more and more difficult to justify the extra cost when I read about issues like this.
What a piece of ****, my lumia 1320 is bigger and it never ever bends. Even though the cover is plastic, the actual phone is rock solid and the price is a mere fraction of an iphone 6 plus. My last solid apple product is an ipod 20GB from 2005, it still works great, can't imagine a device like this to be functional 5 years from now, not to metion 10. :giggle2:
This is a huge fail by Apple.. My wife's iPhone 6 plus spends most of its time in her purse and when she got home, I was curious and took a look at it.. Sure enough, it had a very slight bend to it... The guy in the video blog above performed a similar test on the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and it fared much better... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FwM4ypi3at0
