belkin router and im blocking

i was wanting to use my belkin router to block imvu, ( the kids are going to have do due with out it until they can do their chores and not talk back to there mother) i know i can just block the internet with port 80 but my wife still likes to use that computer in the morning's, and wakes me up to unblock the net, and the kids still use it for some school work.

so the big question is dose any one here know what ports imvu uses?

Dominant, that does not help rabidgoldfish at all, he's trying to punish his kids by not letting them use IMVU (a chat messenger) so they do there chores around the house and not talk back to there mother.

I'd recommend just uninstalling it of the PC, and in the Restricted Websites on Firefox, Internet Explorer or whatever you use, block it. Or you could try google and download NetSupport and get the program restricted.

Infact, I think if you go into Control Panel, in the Security Center, then onto Windows Firewall, you can block the program there..?

 

yeah well let him tell me that, don't waste your time trying to tell me what does'nt help somone else. Your outta place saying that...by the way the days of 1 pc per family are over.....all that does is create problems...and as it turns out thats what the guy has ... a problem... easily solved by a pc for the kids...hell, i'll donate 1 i got 4....hows that for help....

 

dominant go enlarge your e-peen somewere else, maybe he doesnt have the money for a second pc or he doesnt want the kids to have one because of things they will learn ( share and stuff isnt common anymore these days )
