Just bought the game myself, 23 bucks !
Believe it or not i bought the game about 4 months ago and i only started playing last night.
This game hammers the CPU very hard almost 100% usage occasionally on 64 player servers depending on the map.
Very smooth on DX11 but i have not tried DX12 yet to check for stutter or if it reduces load on the cpu.
Nvidia control panel settings always reset my changes for this game so i had to use global settings.
I don't believe you!
That's a nice deal really
where did u buy it from?
This game hammers the CPU very hard ,and 1 was rough as well.
Since no one posted the latest patch notes, from June 3th and i didnt even know there was another update... here they are..
Patch notes 25.06.2019
I'm slowly losing more and more interest with Battlefield thanks to how this one has been treated so far... I still manage to play from time to time, but it's just not like previous titles where I would sink so many hours into it. Lately I tend to play for one map and drop afterwards either bored or frustrated with some sort of bug or something..
The new map was delayed which was what I was mostly looking forward to I'm with this patch, but I'm probably going to hop on later and mess around a bit though to see the new bugs they've created lol. They need to step up their QA..
On a side BF5 rant.. all this company coin is just stacking up not being able to be used because of how aggressively they monetized ALL the epic and above quality gear. I'm not going to spend 10 dollars for an 'elite' dude or dudette, sorry EA.
I've spend all my company coins on the new guns that i did not unlock during the events.
I've completed every single one of those lol
Yeah that's where a lot of my points go, but a lot of the guns I don't really care for at all so I avoid them.. I guess I really should just buy them :/
Hotfix released and "they dont have any clue whats causing invisible soldiers"...
Fix for hit registration which was the most noticeable when using airplanes. Players should see improvements across the entire game, as we have learned that this was affecting all Vehicles and Infantry under certain circumstances.
Face paints for the Axis male soldiers are once again functional
Stability improvements to the game client
"we’ve learned that this is a purely random occurrence"
... No it's not. Where did DICE engineering talents went? BF4 started shaky but ended up rock solid.
BF5 is still plagued with technical issues.
They clearly lost a lot of talent or their talent is put elsewhere. The amount of bugs added each patch and all the broken promises and delays.. not to mention "timed modes" really just put me off this damn game. What a shame.. the combat is genuinely really good. If EA would just focus a little effort into this game it could be freaking amazing... at this rate I have about 0 interest in any future Battlefield/Dice game, and I've played just about every single one as a pretty hardcore BF fanatic.
At this point, i've way more fun playing the more arcade friendly Battlefront 2 than BF5
Yeah the invisible soldier issue is mind boggling. It's been around for weeks and they still don't know why?
It's like why does DXR stutter horribly even on the best hardware available, DICE and Nvidia can't seem to figure it out, or provide more DLSS resolutions for BF5.
I just don't get it.
Why would you even use dxr in a competitive shooter? It increases your latency aka makes you worse at the game...
THAT is what is mind boggling to me.
In regards to dxr... it's an nvidia feature, and just like the rest of their gamesdoesntwork suite, it is buggy, horribly optimized, and it will never be any different.
