Really nice trailer and 3 new maps 2 coming October 31 and then wake island December, It's been a long wait but this looks like a really good amount of new content.

Might‘ve taken too long. A good amount of players has gone already and another good share might leave soon for the „fresh“ bunch of games.
Good they finally added this, I’d love to see this game around for some years & „seasons“.

Been a BF fan since 1942. The iterations have had their ups and downs through the years and BFV is average at best for the series. I'm one of the few that didn't care that much for BF1. BF2, Bad Company 2, BF2142 and BF4 were among my favorites. Hell, even BF Vietnam was fun for what it was. That had the best music of any BF game.

Glad to see the new content for BFV. It looks like the new trailer is from a War Stories episode though. Be nice to have the M1 and Browning in game again. But the flamethrowers and flame throwing tanks, that would be cool too.

I think BFV is the best looking game they have produced but it's just not quite the standout as some releases in the past have been. The new content will bring some players back but for how long will be the question.

  6. Rough to watch but well-executed nonetheless. Good trailer DICE. *captured in-game, hell what a thing, we've come a long way since my first run at Battlefield 1942....

Garand should be live today with some other weapons.

Haven't had the pleasure of a flamethrower since BF Vietnam.

    Looks good.

Pacific theater is certainly going to be interesting especially if they integrate carriers.... but honestly I think for me personally I would like to see the Eastern front more. I need to replay those environments that remind me of one of my fav movies (Enemy at the Gates). Bombed out buildings with lots of good sniper nests.

Agreed ! Give us Stalingrad ! Been asking for Eastern front since they announced bf5... up until the pacific theater, their choices for map locations has been horrendous...

Imho it was a huge azz blunder to not release the game with Historical well known Battles locations. That`s where they lost my interest. Hope the remaining players dig the new maps.

I would be really happy if they ever had some Australian inspired battle locations in the game, I'm sure people would get a kick out of hearing Australian accent, slang and sayings in a Battlefield game too.

"Let's make the Japs eat the vegimite off of our boots!" kind of lines? :D

That said, I still think no WW2 game is complete without Normandy...

I'm not sure they would have said that lol...

It would be kinda funny to see the line reused from Battlefield 3 "I'm getting Fu**ed up the a** over here!" but in Australian accent of course... hehe.

Still looking for more bros to play with -- IGN Syranetic.

I know a few people added me but I haven't been on at the same time yet.

So many times I will be the only recon near the front lines just spamming flares (the only one doing so BTW) trying to help my team and I Would kill just to have a support giving me ammo.

BTW M1 Garand is crazy good.
