Because it's a old mock up that was used internally to sell the concept, hence the missing/ reused assets and the code name omaha.
It will look a LOT better now than in that video. And I for one am looking forward to this, as it mixes Counter-Strike/Heist/vehicle'ish and close quarter combat. If all the modes are implemented right, this could be quite decent to be honest. :banana:

The only sliver of interest I have in this is because Visceral are making it. But, on the other hand it makes me sad that Visceral have been forced away from Dead Space because EA doesn't think the series is "popular" enough to continue.

Well you can pre order it at GAME, but they are releasing it on PS3 and 360 too! Wish we could move on from old consoles!

My thoughts exactly! If those tools really can be used anywhere and not just specific hotspots a very dynamic gameplay could arise. Love it!
