Don't you know ? AMD needs to clear stock of 2xx series.
So although the comparison is not correct, it fits the purpose.

 

Origin? nah, pass. BF series stopped being fun after BF2. always felt like a console port than PC game after BF2.

It does. I just think it's very poor because actually, the frostbite engine was developed under amd cooperation with ea. Their marketing even favored amd when the engine was first brought out... and now you need the (obviously) better amd card compared to the nvidia counterpart?

If it's not to clear the stocks, it's evidence of incapacity, at least imo. Only adds to my impression of hardline.

That's because then it basically came to consoles, and thus, was making compromises to be playable on consoles. Like smaller servers and lots of gameplay too.

 

Im getting 75+ fps on ultra, with 4x AA on my 660 sli, there is no need for 3 GBs of VRAM on 1080p. The game itsels is a crap, its a 100% skip.

 

So in minimum similarly powered cards in high end wot. But lol if they forgot to optimize the game altogether on amd hardware I can see this being true. Else they are just being derp.

I'm loving the game, heist mode is cool. BF purists will moan, dgaf. More multiplayer fps to play the better and the change of setting is most welcome as is more infantry focused game modes for those of us that hate the vehicle spam conquest.

Something about those specs don't look right. The minimum specs require a HD 5770 1GB or GTX 260 896MB, however, the GTX 260 is not even a DX11 card, so how is it supposed to run the game?

The DX11 API can support DX10/10.1 GPUs. They'll just lack the features that require new hardware, like tessellation

The HD 4870 should be officially supported too considering the GTX 260, but perhaps it comes down to the drivers.

 

Not only this game is crap, but it is also unstable, i cant even finish one match without driver crashes. Today i got BSOD from this crap, time to uninstall:grab:

Played for three hours today with no issues whatsoever. No crashes, no stutters, just fluid gameplay. It is a pretty fun time, though we did lose just about every match, haha.

I'm curious if they have max textures in the beta since I'm getting 120-180 FPS literally everywhere on ultra. I've set my monitor to only 100hz because my monitor looks better in other games at this hz, so it's neither here nor there, just turned off vsync to see how it performs. So yeah, not bad but a little fishy.

 

I played the game in 4k and the graphics still sucked.. I was not impressed one bit.

It shoud be an AMD game, as all games coming on the Frostbite engine are AMDs Gaming Evolved, as they signed with AMD, and they done Mantle with em.
