You're not the only one. The EA Master Server is overloaded due to too many players, and certain things will fail. Third party stats sites have been disabled.

Everything is still being recorded, you just won't get access to it.

Biggest problem I have is my DLC fails to load most of the time.

He all, just bought this game, installed fine, however my version it seems needs updating. Says cant run unless its updated to the lastest version, which is fine.

However it seems to be takeing an insane amount of time!! i had it running must be for nearly two hours earlier and it didn't finish!! i ended up cancelling and got my Civ5 installed. Justs want to know is it normal for an update to take this long!! Surely not!!

You must have really slow internet.

You should have just left it updating while you played Civ. You'll have to go through it all again to play it.

There have been a few updates since release, so probably a couple of gigs worth.

*edit full R10 is 2.4GB, hence the reason it took so long. Took me about 15-20 mins approx at 2.4~MB/s

Cheers dude, think i'll maybe try downloading 2morrow. My download speeds seem to have really dropped, not sure why, only getting 2.4Mbps should be friggin 10!

Yeah they seem to have taken a hit, not sure whats happened. I usually get a steady 1.2MBps instead im only getting approx 200KBps

Odd. You'd want to have that looked at. Will take a while to d/l the patch. Just use a d/l manager like free download manager so you can pause/restart the download.

I too get that in the evenings when traffic is heavy, it's because of their servers.

Bought a Sapphire 6950 card with an "Buy Battlefield: Bad Company™ 2 and get Battlefield: Vietnam FREE! from SAPPHIRE Select Club’s Free Promotions" offer code. But i''ll have those already. Who can i make happy with it? You need to buy it in the ea store btw and enter the code i'll have.

Dice have chosen to unlock the Hastings map on all platforms, PC version was unlocked last week though the PS3 and X360 versions where only about halfway there for those 69 million team actions.

I stopped it d/led it from a file hosting site and it was more than 2 GBs in size but comeon at the speed it was updating. Oh my GOD!

    Anyone come across this problem?

The game often crashes on me, the image freezes but the sound keeps playing and I can still get out the good ol "ctrl alt del" way. It happens on a regular basis, I'd say about ever 2 game I play I get a crash halfway trough.

Also when I maximize the game again after I ctrl-alt-delled out of it the screen flickers from black to white constantly and the sound is still playing (I can even still shoot and hear the shot sometimes).

Running a HD6950 at HD6970, I thought it was getting 2 hot at first but I'm not sure anymore now because I've managed to cool it down a bit but it still happens. (The card gets around 95°C now)

Would rlly like to manage to fix this somehow because it's annoying not to being abled to play the game for an hour without having to considering it might crash any second.
