quite like the new patch. except for the resetting controls part. i threw a grenade instead of knifing someone the first time i tried it..
oh and they still didn't fix the UMP reload gfx bug.

and when they said the mg36 has crosshairs in hardcore now, they really meant it has crosshairs, you have the same crosshairs as in softcore

 

I have the same mouse mate and im using latest setpoint,im using setpoint with os settings

 

sli 470 or single 5970/480 has gpu usage at 100%?

which fov should i use to 1920*1080?

im using 80 and its now that bad.

 

I use 68.

 

I use 75.

 

I use 70...... lol

As for the patch...

1)gameplay seems a little smoother
2)Heli controls seem more responsive - or its more manouverable

everything else already been discussed here (toggle crouch introduced etc etc)

I saw someone mention a page or few back about new maps....?

by crosshairs you mean iron sights?I don't bother with hc servers so I'm niot sure what that meant.

 

I don't know if it's just me but I tried tonight to play some but all my favourite servers and not just them were extremely laggy, I think it affected all players though, like a knifed someone who was 10 meters away from me lol. Is it because of the patch or too many players thus killing the servers?

 

i played the last hour in it was absolutely fantastic, i hope they fix the draw distance in the next, i hope.

i only play on conquest max 16 players.

same 75 at 1920=1080...it dont really matter,it all depends what you like personally,i know one player who uses 85 playing at 1200 res.

 

Its probably because everyone is downloading the patch,it will probably be better tomorrow,i havent even bothered downloading it myself yet as im too busy watching movies with my fiance.Ill probably check it out tomorrow

 

juhuuu...

they fixed the mouse acceleration..now its great hehe..
but hitboxes could be better...still need to tweak the ini files...

but all in all, everything works fine now..i see the pings, server browser takes about 5 -6 seconds to display...

im in game..hehe bye bye

 

ahh! the new patch! i am so excited! downloading now. Now I can use that damn mg36

 

Guys. What about M16. Did they tweak it a little or not? Is such a nice gun but in this game it is kind of useless.

 

Nice to have v-sync finally working in DX11 but how long did it take them to actually fix it?!? Also when I resumed my save game the game nicely returned to the desktop without any warning or error message. Seems I had to start from the beginning of the level. It would have been nice if the game had warned me of that; it can't be too difficult to code in as I used to see in older OpenGL games.

any patches to the client itself will require you to start your last level played from the beginning. this from the R7 client update

I do believe it did say something to that effect, before you clicked the ok button to continue with downloading the patch.So when the R9 client patch gets released( just as an example only, no rumors or news) you can expect to restart your last level from the begining.

 

BFBC2 crashes now for me after 10 min of play.
I am able to play the MOHA Beta without crashing?

WTF

 

im playing for 2h now with 258.69 beta, no crashes, maybe its sli drivers.

 

You realize those are two different games right?

Same engine + Same developers does not = same game
