I am getting some weird audio lag. Ill click to shoot and a few seconds later the sound will play. It's very odd and I have no clue how to fix it. Any thoughts?

the map sizes are massive of course you could have planes! exactly like bf2, your getting confused by the game mode (rush) which is totally differnet and more restricting then conquest (which opens the whole map ctf style)

to be honest i hope most servers run conquest, rush is ok - but its a little on the arcady side , can any one confirm what the balance is on the server browser between servers???

Anyone else have this strange feeling that even when its like 45-50 fps instead of 60(vsync on) the game is stuttering ? It drops for example from 60 to 50 fps but the feeling is like it went from 60 to 20 or smth. HBAO off 1440 full with aa and af

Damn i really want to see some multiplayer review.

Is it traditional BF or something new.

    Maps small/huge ?

What kind of vehicles ? Choppers ? Tanks ? Planes ?

    Can i disable Bloom?

I´m running it maxed out 2xAA 16AF and HBAO and plays really nice.
However i have too much bloom and a bad balance between brightness and contrast .
How much did you set both of them?
    Thanks

Lower Brightness and increase contrast -20%/+20%.

Worked like charm for me. Bloom is pain only with snow, something i would disable for multiplayer gaming, but its kinda realistic ;P sun + snow is very flashy ^^

More than likely, rather much more than likely you are right. I was to late to the pc party to get into bf2 even though I have it but never booted it up more than a quick look. I thought rush was a little to small for me, So that is good to hear that the maps should be much larger. Sweet!

If its anything like the first one online then it will have an assortment of maps, some with vehicles, some without, there was jeeps, tanks and choppers in the first.

that always happens when you have vsync on and you drop such amount in fps.

Try forcing triplebuffering with D3Doverrider, see if it helps.
I suspect though it won't help that much as 45fps when your vsynced at 60 is gonna lag like hell.

Reckon your gonna have to either, 1) disable vsync and face tearing, or 2) lower settings or AA

There's a settings.ini somewhere on your C drive (in Mydocuments/DICE/ or /bc2beta or something). Find & change the bloom line to

    bloom=false

    Thanks;)

And kapu the bright/contrast setting you gave me works great.

Nice game so far, really like the destructible environments.

slickric21 I was afraid that this stuttering/tearing can`t be changed easily. I will try tripplebufering but why you guys always write to force it in D3Doverrider if i can just turn it on in nvidia control panel ?:)

To be honest graphics in this game arent better than MW2 but in MW2 i could play in 1440 all very high and with high aa, af with vsync on stable 60 fps

The graphics don't seem , to me, better then MW2, they look too bright and not as "clean" as MW2.
But they are more "alive" which gives a greater sense of immersion.
