Currently using the latest 331.65 and getting some serious flickering in heavy smoke areas in BF4, there's a thread over on the BF4 forums and from what I can gather this is an sli issue, IMO this is gamebreaking so either we need a patch or a driver fix or both I dunno but it's very annoying to be restricted to one card :bang:, i've tried changing out the sli bridge, tried swapping my cards about but nothing fixes it and reverting to older drivers causes the rainbow flashes problem.

It's an SLI issue. There is nothing that can be done until Nvidia fixes it

That's the 11.1 update for Windows 7 and has caused problems for users since it's been released.

Just to update I think I've fixed my flickering in sli, turns out if you turn motion blur up to 100 it stops the flicker, you can even set it back to it's original setting afterwards. :)

BF3 had flickering problems with SLI if the window was set to fullscreen too early or too late when loading a map. Doing this manually as soon as it says "loading level" was a good workaround.
In BF4 I haven't encountered this issue yet because it goes to fullscreen way earlier than BF3. I'm on Win 8.1.

This has always happened to me in BF3 in it's entire lifespan, and I play on Borderless Window.
BF4 I run in Fullscreen cause Borderless refuses to stay max size, and I have yet to get any kind of flickering.
Running it on 8.1 currently (Burn in hell, MS).

Try running on Windows 7 with the 32 bit executable and the latest nVidia drivers. It crashes more but it flickers less xD

Please test this, set Physx to CPU and check if it's gone.

I can confirm, motion blur at 100% stops the flicker.

And CFX doesn't. Strange how we have come full circle...

But CoD:Ghost has some issues on both side, so I think it is a game issues for it.

I've always had some flicker on textures but only those that are very very far away. This is mostly noticeable while flying a heli or jet and almost never while on the ground. Well, it depends on the map I guess.

To fix that problem I changed one line in the BF4 profile with NvInspector.
By default the value is 0x00000003. Changing that to 0x00000000 or 0x00000001 or 0x00000002 correct the problem but it seems that the game is a bit less smooth in that case (FPS remain the same). 0x00000000 seems to work a bit better for me.

I know what's it is, it is the ASYNC10_NVAPI_MODE.

So it look like you just change it back to sync, and some of the optimize of this async also affecting SLI too.

Pls can somebody post video of this flickering problem? I have a little flickering on distant textures visible mostly by scope, but its insignificant.
