I am noticing bad lag as well.... on servers with 5 ping...

The little network icon is always showing, it's ****ing annoying too, literally 5 ping, fiber optic connection to a server in my region.

    *edit*

Did a few rounds today and it seems to be better... last night was atrocious.

I guess i liked this one hehe. DLC were great, there's just been the launch of the game that had some trouble :p.

    I don't know, i feel a successor to BF2142 coming.

So I haven't played Battlefield 4 installed since last year, or even Origin installed for a while, felt like playing a bit of BF4 so installed Origin, then BF4, and..... I selected the install directory F:\Origin Games, and Origin installed the game there, then Origin decided it would install all the dlc outside of the game folder over on C drive so the game can't use the dlc.............. wtf

EA's Origin is so freaking stupid.

Yes. I basically copied it over into the game folder, Origin doesn't know what is going on but the game works now..... EA must employ junior coders, these types of mistakes can only be explained if that were the case.

There is a setting in the properties menu that allows you to change the destination drive to what ever you like

That is correct, it seems origin ignored it for this install.... it has worked just fine in the past.

Is there a spawn glitch on lockers at flag E somewhere? Just had a game where I could not figure out how one squad kept getting behind our entire team, I know about the one above E on the mountain, they weren't using that.... it was just as if they were appearing out of nowhere around flag E.

We had motion sensors down everywhere trying to figure it out and just couldn't find a beacon, I typed nice spawn hacking at the end of round not mentioning the players and then one of of them replied with ^lol...

    So there must be something.

Maybe one of their squad members was just staying hunkered down and safe somewhere, so that the rest could repeatedly spawn on him?

I thought this too, I spent basically all of a 2000 ticket match trying to find a beacon or hidden player, it was like, our team would clear E, check everything around it, then go back to focusing pushing from C, everything behind C to E was our team including snow, with motion sensors trying to figure out how they were getting past us, it was literally like they were appearing on E flag.

I tried searching for anything relating to spawn glitch near E flag and can't find anything other than the spot on the mountain some players glitch up on and place beacons at which was clear on this match, it's so confusing.

So I reinstalled Battlefield 4 today and it's nice to see that installing the game + dlc in the same location is not possible resulting in each one throwing an error message upon download.

Origin really is the worst, I specified the game be installed on E drive but for some reason it downloaded the dlc separately to F drive which didn't have enough room for Battlefield 4, so I had uninstall another game on F drive just to get it to finish downloading the dlc, now I have to copy the game files from F to E....... seriously EA why is Origin so crap.

    *edit*

So I only just remembered this same thing happened to me last year, nice to see EA literally don't care about improving Origin or even fixing bugs for that matter, sent a report this time, lets see if they can actually try to fix a problem.

    *EDITIT*

So.............. this is what I see when starting Battlefield 4, because I want to play Battlefield 4.... like.... that's the reason I installed Battlefield 4, because I want to play Battlefield 4, Because I like Battlefield 4........... This right here is a very veryyy good way to piss someone off who Hates Battlefield V very much.

Something I found interesting, the Battlefield V thread here on the Guru3D forums is on it's first thread "still" and sits at 55 thousand views, this Battlefield 4 thread is on it's 5th new thread and is at 114 thousand views.

    *edititit*

ok... so..... how can this be turned off?

I love TDM and the online community is still very active. Running the latest version of PunkBuster along with hundreds of other players we're getting kicked within 2 minutes for no reason!
