It depends on the map, but the ACWR is a good medium range/CQC choice for other classes. Maps like Dawnbreaker/Transmission is where the M4 used to excel, before the nerf for all the carbines.

ACWR kills slightly slower then the AEK but has a lot ability to play very aggressive due to the mobility advantage on carbines.

It's my go to weapon for assault can beat aek 1v1

further distance damage drop off
faster bullet velocity (this stat actually matters on 60hz)
less recoil/easier to manage (although this is half personal choice as it still kicks just in the other direction to aek)
less spread in all situations


aek has that bit faster rpm but I find it really doesn't matter now damage doesn't get clumped together.


Also comes with its own sweet 1.6 times custom scope and looks like it's from the future :3

Very impressed of how BF4 performs, sadly i'll have to drop some settings to achieve ~100fps all the time.

I'll have to play again with F2000, haven't used it much lately.

It got buffed right?

Yeah, loved that 1.6 scope, even preferred it to the rds for instance.

 

What resolution and CPU clock are you running at?

 

Suddenly remembered why I didn't like the F2000.

Most likely has a very "low" base accuracy. It lacks stopping power. Even a CZ805 has more stopping power :x

 

I never was a particular fan of it, as I also thought that for it's rof it's normally low on accuracy, then I tried the AEK and wondered why the hell I should play F2000 besides it's 1.6 optics. Got my 500 kills with it, then quit it for good.

 

I quite like the F2000, as well as the P90. Hard to get used to, but very effective in CQ, even from the hip. I haven't used the AUG much myself, will put that one on my list to try next. Just finished unlocking all the attachments for the AR160, great gun. Easy to get used to.

I know a few of you like to make your own montages featuring your own epicness on the Battlefield. After playing the campaign again today, I made this Sony Vegas intro for my next montage, but decided to release it as a template that is free to use for your own montages, as away of giving back to the community.

Have any of you seen the above in game, it's an Easter egg so it might be a spoiler if you watch the video and did anyone see it before knowing about it.

 

Been there, done that. I haven't discovered it myself though, some friend saw it on a video and we tried it out eventually.

 

I played on a 60Hz server... it felt so smooth.

Night time Zavod is kind of crap.

 

I gained like 30-50 fps with my shiny new 5820K, did not expect this performance increase vs 2600K @4.5Ghz...

Still bandwidth bottlenecked at 1080p though (GPU bandwidth).

But I can practically maintain a constant 150 fps at 720p now.

 

What is your screen to be getting 150hz? .... or is it 150fps uncapped on a lower hz monitor?

I'm happy I can finally maintain just 60fps all the time with my new cpu xD

I think he wants the high fps to have smooth input, rather than true 150Hz monitor shows.

 

I am also thinking about going to that CPU. Is that a good motherboard to choose? Also how much did you manage to overclock it?
