The TBG, 'True Born Gaming' group has several awesome servers to play on.
No I am not one of them. I just play there a lot, and love it.

Nah, it was rumored that its the DLC date, but that should take a litte longer. Dice also said the patch will be ready before june, last week of may. But their process to validate the **** patches takes up to 5 weeks and for console and such...we PC ppl have to wait, cos they want to give "that" patch on all paltforms the same time.

I got this game on release but never really played much until last night and played for about 6 hours (thanks to KissSh0t's tip!) and boy, do I ever suck at the game. I think 200+ hours of COD:Ghosts has ruined Battlefield for me forever :D Maybe I'll finish a game with a positive K/D one day...

Does anyone else feel like these DLC's are rolling out waaay too quickly?

My biggest disappointment from BF4 is not anything of the normal sort, rather, it's directly linked to the game's lifetime. It's getting shorter.

It feels as though the legacies of BF 1942 and even the likes of CS, or BF3 were much stronger and longer than what we have here today with BF4.

I mean they're already talking about BF2015!???1 If the intent is to hammer it like you have no life before it's gone and everyone moves onto the net thing.. then count me out.

I love the game, I really do, but I guess it's the business model that's bringing me down. I've barely even immersed myself in China Rising, let alone the however many other DLC's that have come out or are about to. They certainly ought not be so frequent that I'm not even familiar with their titles.

    /rant, carry on. :)

I totally agree. Even BF3 felt slower release wise than this. BF1942 seemed to last forever. I'm starting to think I will quit on the BF series. Sad days.

if you play the campaign a lot, and keep in mind who's doin the next star wars, you'll see that the whole engine and the devs themselves are gonna nail it.
i suspect even at bf4 stage they knew /suspected they was in line for star wars batttlefront.
or at the very least they were told do this good and you get star wars.
just some thoughts, also bf4 mp is the most laughs online in any game out there currently imo.
in general terms it's probably still no.1 as we speak. (bf4 MP is incredible at times and many folks have realized this i suspect).
war tapes sounds are just spot on. so yeah star wars is gonna be pre-order £50 for whatever version doesn't matter. MP only if they like whatever.

I'm happy Battlefront 3 is coming out but I'm not happy about DICE doing it. I feel like we will be playing a complete Battlefield clone with the stupid unlocks and level ups.

    EA are all about this.

    Yearly Revenue.

    Projected Earnings.

DICE is sadly trapped under EA's thumb and made to do what it's master bids, if in the process we get a good game.. then..

Now that BF seems to has turned into a yearly release, they have to put out all DLC before the next one comes out. I don't care about DLC since I don't buy them at all, but what is worse is that the support is also likely to end after the last DLC hits.

Yet DICE keeps saying that they have this long history of supporting their games (great work letting BF42, BFV, BF2, 2142 die btw. - gladly there are community solutions out there). One year isn't exactly something to write home about IMO.

    Oh my wow.

The one thing I wouldn't even wish upon my worst enemy is..............

trying to play BF4 from a mechanical hdd. Srs.

And I thought my newish 3TB WD Black was a generally impressive harddrive. Sheesh.
Otherwise performance is great but I really miss having it on SSD. I was so spoiled.

I have struggled mighty with BF4, after BF3. I switched to 30" monitor, with new resolution, and somehow I havent been able to get the same "feeling" when aiming.

Today I realised I use 800 dpi on my mouse, and upped it to 1000dpi. Also I ditched my mousepad, and use just on my desk. WHAT A DIFFERENCE.

Finally I have the same rhythm n' feel I had when playing bf3 <3

Brb capping all flags in Domination while you load the map.

(pretty much why a freeze time should be mandatory lol)

We have had battlefield games and it's many spin off's including DLC yearly since the franchise started.

I'm lucking forward to seeing something different for bf hardline.

I could never play good on a big monitor, has to be atleast 22-24inch.

Maybe it's the mouse's DPI setting like you.

I use a 42" HDTV for my PC gaming (pushed back a bit on a large desk so it's not all up in my face) and it took me a while to get used to it. It's definitely a different feel than a typical monitor, but once you get used to it it's glorious!
