These next 17 days are going to drag ass. Hopefully I can get Dead Space 3 finished up by then. Once BF4 gets release, everythign is getting put on hold for the foreseeable future. :bounce:

I'll jump back to bf3 to sharpen up my aim. Not much else I to play, that I can think off.

Google would give any answers in seconds, but that doesn't keep people from asking questions does it?

Well I was being lazy and you had nothing better to do, so we both win.

It is out on the 17th isn't it? or 18th depending on where you live in the world..

I mean.. um.. if you were talking about Windows 8.1 that is.

    So they did something?

It might not have seemed like it, but it was a serious question lol.

Yeah mate, there's been a few patches deployed over the last few days, fixing various issues, performance issues amongst them.

just tried bf4 once again but still a lot of stuttering on every gamesession i tried
setting to low medium or ultra all remains the same
switching drivers also did not help at all
i looked for updates but found none

bf3 is still runing great so i realy dont know whats wrong here (win7)

That's absolutely cracking news - oddly I was on 320.49.

That could be it, I do not know what performance issues they actually addressed but they may not have sorted the Win 7 issues.

I will play again later just to check it was not some bizarre anomaly.

Win7 performance is okay on my sig rig but it's a bit more than most users have (both GPU's are only hovering around 65% usage) but on Win8.1 CP I have my 2500k 770 rig using the same IQ settings just res slider at 110% and get constant 60fps just the weird random 50fps dip.

I got around to trying 780 sli on my W7 2600k/ud7 rig.
Was studder fest to say the least frame rate was higher but jeez was sucky.

I messed around with with NvidiaInspector trying a few sli and sli aa modes
I would say for guys on sli rigs to try force afr2 I dont know why but I also had to force dx10 mode to af2 too for some reason.

So i don't really know if this was the reason for smoothing it out or just lower ping server??? I was on servers with 50 ping and it was bad but did most of my testing on a close jersey/nyc one with 15p.

Don't think it would hurt to try if you had the studdering stanly syndrome as i had since it was pretty unplayable.

Hmm do I get this guys? I have a backlog of single player games like you wouldn't believe and I only played 50 hours of BF3. How much time did all of you put into BF3?

Try this; make a user.cfg and experiment with ingame frames to render ahead 1 or 2,
    RenderDevice.ForceRenderAheadLimit 2

    RenderDevice.TripleBufferingEnable 1
    GameTime.MaxVariableFps 70

same thing in Bf3 nvcpl profile try 1 or 2 instead of app controlled, also try threaded opt.- on and prefer max perf..

Ha I might be better skipping BF4 then, too busy to rack up that kind of time.

Most people have hundreds of hours in bf3. Not me, I'm about the same as you but will play bf4 more.

Same here I think I gave less than 30 hours in BF3 multiplayer.
