Got a few problems that people are telling me are on my end:

¤ Client crashes - Either during the match or while quitting when the match is over (Side effect = XP loss, even if the match is completed and the round is displayed in Battlelog)
¤ Connection Time outs - For me it only happens on maps with 48 or more players (Side effect = XP loss)
¤ I get oneshotted 80% of the time and don't really know why. But when I face my foes it takes me 10 bullets to kill them off.

Running on Win 8.1 x64 with .65 drivers. What can I do to fix this?

Try playing on the x86 client.

I hope so, the thing is I was getting 2 shot on the beta too,
not nearly as bad as the final release but I'm still worried.

BF3 was one of my all time favourite MP games, I was so hyped with BF4
that my wife threatened to kill me if I wont stop talking about it:wanker:

Let's give em some time, I still got a little faith left:)

To be honest i'm finding the hit detection worse in 4 than 3, can't even play in games higher than 32 players without crashing and losing all progress either. This so called triple A title is a train wreck. I'm no avid CoD fan but Ghosts is gonna destroy this game.

Oddly enough x86 seemed to help. I also tried repairing the game (apparently it wasn't updated although I never noticed an update in Battlelog) but x64 still crashes upon exit.

Since i switched to x86, the game doesnt crash as often. Now i can live with it...atleast for the moment.

32player servers seems a bit more stable too.

Hmm, today its crashing every single match so far... well f*ck it then.

Think changing from X86 to x64, or vise versa helps with the crashing in Bf4 online? think again..

So I bought the game because I really wanted to play the single player campaign to see first hand what kind of visuals the Frostbite 3 engine is capable of....and I'm disappointed.

It looks good don't get me wrong, but definitely not next gen. Crysis 3 looks better. And yes, I know that BF4 is geared towards multiplayer so it won't focus on the kind of visuals that a solid single player game would be able to..

But still, I thought the game would look better given all the talk.. Also, doesn't run as well as I was expecting, but I suppose it being a new game and engine and all, that should be expected. Nothing that few patches and driver updates can't take care of.

Played on 2560x1440 Ultra settings 2xMSAA 64 bit mode.. I'm going to get the refund after I play the single player campaign to completion.

^^^ Disregarding the bugs complaint, I agree that single player is a waste of time for BF and COD, Bad Company, not so much as they actually put some effort into story telling.

Imo, drop the single player mode and just work on mp. If you want a decent single player fps experience (campaign), BF and COD should be that last place you look.

There's an update for punkbuster. May want to get that updated if you haven't done so.

    Yep,

It may sort out Multiplayer crashing, well, it seems to have fixed it this side - thought it was worth sharing as this is a huge issue right now.
