Yea but GPU 100% , game not even maxed , 42FPS , kinda sad with this GPU.
And this just 1080p.
I've had no performance or lag issues at all. CPU hovers around 50%, with HT enabled, and the game even felt fluid with high/ultra settings and 4xMSAA. No performance complaints at least and a ping of below 10ms is just incredible.
The maps are like they used to be though. Especially the interior of buildings looks bland and lacks detail. Just like someone thought "well, if it's going to collapse at some point why waste time and energy to decorate it?"
Running it on medium and get drops now and then, expected it to run worse. But definitely need to invest in a new graphics card! Its really fun.
.... i don't think i could say a game looks good by how well it can render walls on buildings and some fog. I'd still say the Crysis series, especially the original, has some of the best looking scenes.... like that first sunrise at the start of the first game. Would take that over a seemingly oddly lit city-scape any day. And like Loophole said... the reflections on the buildings are just odd. Not only should you not be seeing the clouds and sky in the reflection of the building when looking down at it.... but sure as HELL shouldn't see the sun. It's like the reflections are just textures on the glass-faced buildings. Hell, you can even see a "reflection" of the towers where the satellite dishes are mounted on top of the buildings in those "reflections".
Anybody else think it seems a LOT easier to die in BF4? It's like you get shot, and have no chance to try to take cover before you're dead most of the time.
Anyone recorded any footage of the beta so far? I have to wait until Friday....
This map is quite good! C flag is like a hell! Action everywhere, you wont get bored
Andreas, share your battlelog name
my FPS drops to like 10 everytime I get killed and I go to the menu screen WTFFF
I second this, AB does not work. Any other option?
1) Going from 13.9 to 13.10 Beta 2 for BF4 makes a big difference, much smoother performance now. Recommended for AMD users.
2) DiscoPete89 on Battlelog, add me
As much as I dislike the lack of even a table or chair inside of the building.....BF3 physics are not very good as far as what items respond and what do not. I hate getting stuck on buckets or other junk that won't move in maps like the Close Quarters ones.
If nothing else, it's nice to see my 8350 cpu holding it's own in a game for a change lol.
I guess you're right, and for sure it would easily mean an unbelievable amount of calculations if all these things were there.
What it does though is destroy the immersion. The game looks great, very detailled, and then things like these are missing. It's ok if the map is something stupid like a killhouse or CoD's famous Nuketown map, but any normal building should have all kinds of things in it to make it believable.
Hitboxes of rubble and other "destruction results" is another chapter. Many things in BF3 had a very rough box around them so quite often you couldn't hit something even when you had a perfectly clear line of sight.
For gods sake, is it too hard to edit the quote and delete the image quotation? How many times do we have to see the same image?!
And another thing, will you also stop posting images size above 1280*1024?!
Thanks. (thread police out)
Thanks for your post. It's funny to see the fx 4.0 vs sandy 3.4.

you can't directly monitor via MSIA, but you can always check your max temps, vram usage etc after you finish your session.
