g3d serrver is down again, man I think its time to give this company the boot, what do you guys think? its nightmare after nightmare atm, my other server host multiplay has given me no issue, maybe I should move everything to there. They have offered me 5 extra days free but tbh Id rather a fully functional server. EDIT: I have demanded a response for the constant fk ups and told them that 5 days free doesnt cut the mustard, I await a response.
well if the server is causing so much problem do it man, we should have fun with the server not annoyances.

Yeah, the server is packed when it's up, but keeps going down. Can you do a mix with rush, or something? I don't like Conquest to much, it plays to much to campers. In Rush, you at least have a clear line of battle.
I know servers cost money but I would like to see a North American Conquest/Rush Guru3D server (even if it's not 64 player, 32 player is very sufficient) parallel to the European server. Would even contribute to the cost if one gets set up. Personally, I can't man (cost/administration) of a server myself, so I would like to see if the community would pitch in for this idea. deltatux
yeah delta altogether this cost me (if nobody donates) $100+ a month, its a lot.. I have 4 kids also so its a balancing act. Thats why I have HAD to open another server with a dedicated site with nothing, absolutely zero to do with guru3d so I can use ads etc to help us keep our servers alive if nobody donates. Its not just server costs we worry about now its our members more than anything as I promised a service. We have 10 donators, maybe 12 but thats it,they are the most important. We can already see interest dwindeling here but funnily enough the dedicated site and server is doing ok, to add to that some big companys have come onboard to show support so its almost guaranteed to work and stay open. If we decide to move everything there to keep interest alive we will be offering refunds to the donators here or give the choice to stick with us..then guru3d members (with hh permission) can open as many servers as you could possibly want. Plus those refunded will have had a good time so thats nice, we love guru3d and its members so would never want to leave with a bad taste in your mouths,it is getting to crunch time though, a decision must be made to stay or go because costs are high and we can only pay for it here with donators, on our site the website helps to fund it and is 10x easier to manage for admin and members. All I need to do is get that refund from gameservers and then its going to multiplay and donators will be given the choice for the future of g3d server. Its not all bad tho its just a rename, it would help us a lot tbh.
its not ended, there will allways be a server just a possible name change, join up through the first post or pm me. If your thinking of donating I wouldnt just now, we are trying to get a refund so we can move servers.
