Lol looks exactly the same to me. I've never been good at noticing the little details and all that.

Am I like the only person who thinks BF3 looks amazing as is?

it should store the saves in the cloud too so i dont think you need to worry about backups( havnt confirmed that but you can see the cloud icon on the game in origin ).

Just got it yesterday. Looks good, plays good, and best of all...runs great on my rig at 1680x1050 on my 22", with settings on Ultra and 4xAA.

Now, we'll have to wait and see how well it runs on my incoming 27", and have to up the res.

They should at least give us the option in-game to disable color grading and bloom tint.

    //#define USE_TECHNICOLOR

That's all I did. The game looks a little bit more crisp now. Now all we need for DICE to give us an option to get rid of that god awful bloom tint.

Looks better before, more detail in the after pic, but the colours are bad, and looks too yellow in the second one, kinda reminds me of the "warm" setting on my TV.

Very well written thread on the EA forums, while i prefer the original artistic style of the game, it really isn't MP friendly, which is strange choice for a game that is very much a MP game, so there should be more of a choice, maybe similar to RO2.

    follow the instructions here: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=32415928&postcount=121

read all of it and then read the tonemap section when you're editing and you'll figure it out, it's really easy :)

also, you can edit while ingame. so launch like campaign and alt+tab between the game and the file you're editing. (only works in fullscreen)

    here's my edits so far:

top is default, and the last one is the first try. right now my fav is the second one.

    Wow. What the hell.

Suddenly, the game won't even start. I keep getting DirectX Call errors. I get them 3/5 times when trying to connect to a server. Then, throw in the random just fades to black with BF3.exe has stopped working...

****ing awesome. There was no update to cause this, my PC is the same as it was, and yet now, suddenly?

Can't even play this game I paid 60$ for! The beta infact, ran much better than this. Stability wise, that is.

    And why no patch yet?

We're at about 2 weeks into the game, and only 1 patch? This is one of the biggest game releases in forever, and the sales are super high, and support is ****...

I can't believe this! Blizzard, Valve, ect, any of these people have like 5-6 patches within the first month of release of their games and fixes almost all bugs.
