In the event that you are serious and not sure, there is supposed to be a huge balance/tweak patch this month. It's supposed to do a lot of needed changes, including USAS nerfs, damage to tank increases, recon buffs, and etc.

 

If you point the laser site at someones chest does it make their screen all red as if you're pointing it directly at their eyes?

It's like whenever someone with a laser site turns to face me my screen turns red and I doubt they're pointing it directly in my eyes let alone near my face.

 

I think so. I doubt everyone aims for the head so well all the time.

 

Yep, it's pretty infamous mechanic. You can blind people with laser sight by pointing at their feet :3eyes:

 

I find it interesting that DICE is rolling out performance improvements for 7000 series cards and not through drivers?

That might explain some of the disappointing benchmarks I've seen for Bf3.

 

Anyone else keep getting kicked via PB since the patch?

I re-installed punkbuster & updated it and still get kicked.

Haven't you read the note on the minor update?

If the changes only get announced in the coming weeks there is no way this will release in Feb. I'd guess End of March or even April.

Maybe they wait for the next DLC to deploy the big patch... wouldn't be surprised at all.

 

Yup, they broke the game. I can't even join a server online.

BTW, from their twitter.

"We are aware of the issues caused by "Corrupted File/Memory [9808096]” and are working on it. More announcements during the day."

This wouldn't happen if you actually tested these patches before releasing it..

 

agreed lol. how in the hell do you not test your patches. :3eyes:

 

On consoles, patching cost form 40K$. For PC - nothing. If you remember RO2 or Dead Island, things become more less, clear.
That's why some devs forget about support on consoles. :nerd:

 

It's most likely that it was tested, but not within a Punkbuster enviroment. They probably tested it in a private, non-PB server. Regardless, it's not the end of the world

 

I might play again if this happens.

 

looks like i'm one of the very few that's not getting kicked by PB. lately i have been having some rubber banding and lag, but today it hasn't happened, not even once. kinda strange because im sure this last update has nothing to do with lag etc ...

 

^me neither, just played for a while without issue, though I did lag today which is very rare.

 

i just got done playing another few rounds, and still no problems. maybe they fixed it already?

it's running better for me than it has for a week or so ... go figure.

No problems here. Most servers have lots of players too.
