Battlefield 3 FREE on PC! (Origin)

Funny you can't tolerate another client. A good one at that.

 

I'm no fan of EA, but I did install Origin, because I wanted to play ME3. After playing the first two parts I wanted at least see how it finished. That didn't turn out well. Ghehe. So for years ME3 was the only game I had installed there. I loved the BF series before, so it is time to see how BF3 fares. Especially when it's free. If BF4 ever becomes stable I might try that one as well.

Bf3 sucks, dont even want it for free, thanks for posting though.

 

It´s a great game with a few problems but i prefer Bad Company 2 much more, i wish they would release BC3.

Still if it´s free, why not take it?...

 

I hate bf3 so much that i don't even want it in my games collection, its an embarrassment to the bf franchise. I play bc2 almost everyday atacama desert. Bc2 ain't perfect but i get much better experience from playing it over bf3. Bf4 was ok but bugged to ****. Once the cte fixes roll over to official servers ill probably jump on that as long as its fixed which ive heard has made huge improvements. I will still play bc2 Atacama desert is a classic map that i like.

Nice game. Video defaulted to mostly medium setting and looked good. I bumped everything to Ultra and it runs great and things in the distance look better. Closer things look about the same. Great game for free. I never bother with multiplayer but the Campaign seems really good.

 

Better than borin COD Campaign with endless enemies until you hit a spot ingame where they stop their endless spawning.. uke2:

Did this really increase the hackers? I guess it makes sense, but that does really suck. On a separate note, is there a single damn server on BF4 that does not require the expansions? I just want to play some default maps without purchasing expansions. BF3 doesn't work for me right now due to some bogus error whenever I launch a match, and I have the premium version.

BC2 was the tits; I should get back on that. I understand the hate for the newer BF games compared to the old, but what other FPS realistic war games are there to compete? They are still top of the industry and Call of duty is not my thing.

Looking through the various forums for the specific hacks shows that they are all creating new Origin accounts and putting BF3 on each account so they have Multiple copies of BF3.

 

I have not seen BF3 servers this full since before BF4 released...

Damn right. BC2 is light years above BF3, i played bf3 a bit and removed it fast, game is boring maps are dull and i can't stand that game.

BF4 is way way better than both, once they fix the netcode issue, it should be the best battlefield, at least for me.

 

..for your country maybe.. But i'd say thats pretty normal.

 

This was a very nice pickup for free! Even though I am a complete noob to BF games, I feel like I should get on some servers while the getting is good lol.
