I opened the file in NotePad++ and did a search for "enhance" "enh" and it did NOT come up with anything. Are you sure it's called "enhance"? I also did a search for "bloom" for ****s-and-giggles but no joy. Color me puzzled.

    Sorry, it's enlighten not enhance.

Doing so didn't fix the flickering though...

And yes, I use 60 FOV there..70 feels a bit zoomed out for my liking.

Thanks Beast. I really, genuinely dislike bloom as it is a cheap gpu effect.

No problems here with latest drivers WHQL 11.10
of course for CF latest catalyst cap 4 is needed and yes, as some said, disable HT

If you knew what you were talking about you'd know that the hardware is perfectly fine. The drivers are a disaster.

these last few months though slowly but steadily AMD has been releasing better drivers ! latest 11.10 SHOULD reduce micro stuttering on CF setups for example

I'm using latest now (before i used preview 3 for some rage improvements) and now i get around 5% + FPS in BF3....
Well, maybe it depends on the card or the whole config too.... maybe they optimized better the 6000 series...
I dunno, we all complain a lot about drivers, but i reckon its not an easy task to get good/stable/fast drivers for all games at all times....
Besides, if earlier drivers worked better for you, just use those and wait for a new version.... simple

Using them and I get better performance. Different setups = Different results.

  12. With these drivers and the cap4s installed im getting only 50 to 55% gpu usage on both of my 5850s. Performance is better than the 11.10p3s +cap4 for me too so all good. I only tested bf3 multiplayer though, havent tried single player yet. Mp rapes my x4 at 3.6ghz, its at pretty much a constant 100% to maybe as low as 90% haha. Cpu limitation hard.

    Edit:
Just realised lol by "these drivers" i meant the 11.10whqls.

Been using an amd card for the first time years for nearly 9 months now since the 69xx series was released and have had no issue worth mentioning, bf3 alpha/beta/final all running perfectly fine.

    STUTTERING PROBLEM FIXED:

Hi guys, I have managed to fix the stuttering problem/Mouse lag

once you start the game, switch into your task manager and change the affinity of the BF3 process. For me, it displays the following, since I have a Core2Duo

    Core all
    Core 0
    Core 1

    Only check Core 0.

Switch back into the game and there you have it, no more stuttering, I hope it works for you guys!

    Using 10.11 whql

yu want to tell us that yu play seriously bf3 on 1 core ? must be kidding, i use 4 cores at near max and its quit bottleneck
try to install amd duo core optimizer and enable all cores..i will garant yu will be surprised

He's setting a core affinity, not disabling the other... DUH !
Bottleneck in this game (as already shown by tomshardware) is by the GPU not the cpu... a dual core may struggle a bit but a brand new 3, 4, 6 and 8 cores they all give same FPS with same video card.

    http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/battlefield-3-graphics-performance,3063-13.html

So STFU if you don't know what you are saying.
BTW BF3 doesn't even run on 1 core.. it just doesn't start up !

woa easy guys, no need to get hostile...

I would like to get some response from ppl who try that method, when having that particular stutter video/sound stutter problem, I'd be thankful to know...

by the way, you might be laughing, but my Core2Duo e8400@4,25ghz kicks like a beast ;)
